Need some rest and relaxation? Want an incredible view? Well, Cottage at Twin Oaks has one of the best views around. Just a mere 15-minute drive to downtown Fredericksburg, this completely secluded cabin boasts panoramic views as far as the eye can see. Even on the hottest summer days, the elevation of this property gives you a wonderful cool breeze at all times. Cottage at Twin Oaks is a perfect retreat to take a break from city life and soak in the Hill Country.
This private cottage has a full living area with a queen sofa sleeper and a queen-size bed in the bedroom. There is a kitchen area with a full-size refrigerator and a bath with a walk in shower. Wildlife is abundant all around the 11 acre property. Talk about a great location! So if the city seems to be closing in on you and you need to get away, visit Twin Oaks and enjoy the good life, here in the Texas Hill Country.
*** Dog fees are $35 per dog, per day. **Two dog maximum. Owner lives on the property!

Relaxing Stay With Beautiful Views

My husband and I enjoyed a wonderful weekend stay with our Golden Retriever. The cottage is in a beautiful location with views out over the Hill Country and no neighbors around, so it feels remote and quiet, like you have the whole area to yourself, yet it's only a short drive to all Fredericksburg has to offer. We enjoyed watching the sunset from the patio with a glass of Texas wine, and our dog loved the fenced-in yard so she could explore. Getting to see the horses and cows was also a bonus—plus the deer who came around in the evening. If you're looking for a getaway from the hustle and bustle, this is a perfect spot to enjoy and use as a base to explore the area!

Tranquil Get Away

The property was so peaceful and perfect for the 2 of us with our puppies. It was comforting to have a fenced in yard during our stay. The owners were so sweet and very personable. I would recommend this property to anyone that was coming to Fredericksburg for a weekend getaway.

Great getaway

Loved the cottage in the country. Sitting on the back porch enjoying the breeze and quiet countryside was awesome. Great place to bring our dog with the fenced in area. Will definitely stay here again next time we are in the Fredericksburg area.

Stayed for my birthday weekend and enjoyed the house so much! Not as secluded as expected but very nice! Short drive to Fredricksburg but far enough out we didn't deal with traffic. We love the hill country and the views were amazing! Enjoyed the trivia games and DVDs! Saw some deer and hummingbirds too!We hope to be back soon maybe for some Christmas shopping!

The house was one of the cleanest we have ever rented. It also had extras of everything, towels, pillows, tissue and toilet paper. We were very pleased with our stay. Thank you so much for going the extra mile to provide us with a regular coffee pot. We really enjoy our drip coffee.

Quiet time in the country

This property was perfect for my two dogs and I to have a quiet week in the country. Fenced yard gave plenty of room for dogs to run and play. The full property was large enough that we had no near neighbors and were able to enjoy clear and cool nights with no interference. Close enough to town that we could make visits every day when we wanted.

We loved this cottage. It was very chilly outside during our stay but the heating made it very cosy inside. Well equipped kitchen and comfy bed. We loved being away from the city and the choice of DVD’s allowed us to do movie night every night. Great for the dogs to run around the yard and great to get out to Enchanted Rock and Ladybird Johnson park for walks with the dogs. Lots of deer around loved to watch them through the window. The dogs would have scared them away. Would recommend and we hope to revisit in the future when it’s a bit warmer.

Adorable cottage with amazing views

As soon as we pulled up to the property, we immediately fell in love. The views surpassed our expectations, so peaceful and beautiful. The cottage was perfect for my husband and I and our pups loved roaming around the property. A quick 20 minute ride to town. The home provided us the relaxation we were dreaming of.
