Spacious, affordable home in a great location with a few quirks
We had a great stay overall and felt the home offered excellent value. The price was unbeatable for the amount of space (we got 40% off I think for being one of the first to stay there). It easily accommodated our group and even a few visiting family members. The layout includes lots of bedrooms, bathrooms, and common areas, which made it very comfortable. The location was also ideal: close to everything we needed (within 10–20 minutes), and right next to a beautiful park with trails. The neighbourhood itself was lovely to explore on foot, full of character and interesting homes. Communication with the host was fast and helpful whenever we reached out.That said, there were a few downsides. The home could have been cleaner. Many surfaces and handles were sticky or dirty, and there were no cleaning supplies on hand, so we had to purchase our own. (Thankfully, the linens and towels were clean and fresh.) There were also several small maintenance issues that needed attention, which we passed along to the host after our stay. Lastly, there was no house book or signage with helpful info like the Wi-Fi password or how to use things like the TV and air conditioning.If you’re looking for a spacious, affordable home in a great location and are okay with a few quirks, this is a solid choice!
