(Photo attached.)Privacy & Natural Light:Windows do not have sheer curtains, preventing us from enjoying natural light without compromising privacy.Kitchen:Dishwasher disposal broke on the first night; we previously mentioned this but did not receive a response.No dish soap (only hand soap), no trash bags.Insufficient silverware and plates for a group of five.Child safety latches under the sink are broken.· Microwave light does not work.· First stove burner on the right does not work properly.· Windows are not clean and there is a lot of dust at the bottom· Broken door screen at the top rightPatio & Outdoor Area:Sandbox is broken and shows significant wear.Couch required cleaning upon arrival and some pieces are brokenWoodpecker game pictured in the listing was not present.Master Bedroom:Missing smoke detector — a legally required safety device in all residential rentals.Air filter full of dust and debris, posing a clear respiratory hazard.Many other Hazard, Health and Safety Issues were mentioned and provided. The photo's of the yard must be old because the yard no longer matches the photos. The patio was not even blown off, pictures attached. The amenities were only shampoo and conditioner, no wash clothes, bar soap, kitchen towels. The carpet was clean but super stained all over the stairs and basement. I will email the owner about the fan in the blue room, it is loose and rattles.For the money this house provided all the space we needed for 8 people and was close to all kinds of stores for everything we needed. Otherwise, here are the parts that were not so great: We had to wear our shoes while inside because on day 1, our feet were black on the bottoms after walking around barefoot for a few minutes.The kitchen had very minimal pots and pans, but did have plates and some silverware. But was difficult to cook. The burners were hit or miss on the stove. There was no laundry detergent or dishwasher detergent, even though they asked us to start a load of dishes before checkout. Came across a spider on one of the bedroom fans. A couple other little beetles in the house. If the cleanliness problem got addressed, and if they supplied basic needs like detergents, we’d consider staying here again. Otherwise we will not. ##### Becky A. It was our error. The house was clean but was sparse on supplies. Most rentals include dish detergent, basic kitchen supplies and wash clothes. After a quick trip to Target we were set. We are a family of 4 adults and each had there own bedroom which was nice. One suggestion was to add some lighting or lamps in the upstairs den. No lights except the ceiling lights. Also the only furniture in the bedrooms were the bed and one tiny table beside the bed with a very small lamp. No dresser or luggage stand to place your clothes that don't hang. All the neighbors were nice and lots of people use the sidewalk to walk. It was easy to navigate the neighborhood with plenty of stores close by and walking areas. There was a great lower level with pool table and tv as well as other games. The upstairs dining room was a wonderful gathering place. The kitchen was large and allowed us all to prepare food. The gas stove was a pleasant surprise. The bedrooms were all large enough with the downstairs bedroom well located next to the game/TV room. The house was plenty large enough. The outdoor space looked wonderful but high temperatures prohibited us from spending much time outdoors. Highly recommend this VRBO.
