Mountain View Cabin is a beautiful log cabin that lives up to its name with

fantastic mountain views! If you came to the Smokies to see the color

explosion of Fall or Spring, the emerald glow of Summer or the quite Winter

dignity of a snow capped peak in the distance, this cabin is for you! This

cabin is designed for your enjoyment and comfort. The fully equipped and

stocked kitchen gives you the option of enjoying your meals at the cabin. The

kitchen, dining area and living room make one great room providing you ample

space for visiting. One bedroom and bath are located upsairs which allow for

maximum privacy. Situated on a large acreage tract, this cabin is totally

secluded and private. Come enjoy the view while soaking in your own private

four person hot tub. For those of you who came to see or participate in the

sports games at Rocky Top Sports, this cabin is less than 20 minutes away from

the complex. We can't recommend this cabin enough for our visitors! Unit

Beautiful scenery, appliances and amenities need some attention

While the location of the cabin is undeniably beautiful, the cabin amenities are in need of some updates. The driveway, as most have said. Is SCARY. But go slow and you’ll be fine. The hot tub is in a great spot but the water was murky and not clean. We asked about emptying and refilling but never heard back from the rental company. Some of the appliances on check-in were really messy. The waffle maker (which we were excited to use and bought supplies for it) was nasty. It looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in years and was not working properly. We attempted to clean it but it was no use. There were empty candy wrappers and old food on the floor of the upstairs bedroom. We attempted to use the spatula for the outdoor grill and it came apart so we bought our own and took it home. The top of the refrigerator was super dusty and had dead bugs on it when we arrived. The wifi - while nice to have, was not reliable and we kept losing signal. We all agreed the cabin location was gorgeous. And the views were amazing. But other rentals similar in price seemed to offer more - pool table, games. Sadly the views are the best part about this cabin - for couples it’s probably great but for a small family we were not impressed with closer inspection of the shape of the cabin and what it offered at this price.

Fall in the mountains

The long balcony with views of the mountains is the highlight of the Mountain View house! Also, the privacy is wonderful.

Perfect for a quiet getaway

We wanted to stay in a cabin far away from noise and traffic. This cabin was perfect for that. We had plenty of space for five adults. The views are amazing and peaceful. There are also hiking trails within 20 minutes. We will be back!

Amazing view and stay!!

The cabin was everything my family could ask for, private, secluded, and kid friendly. We had a relaxing stay without worrying if the kids were being too loud or running near a road where cars were going though. As previous reviews state, the road going into the cabin can be a bit intimidating but all fear will subside as soon as you pull up. The hot tub was great after a day at the river (which was nearby), we grilled and ate in front of the sunset overlooking the amazing view on the balcony in the evenings. I can’t recommend this cabin enough, we will definitely be back!!

Great cabin

We had a great time staying. Cabin is adorable and isolated. Driveway up is a little scary but you get use to it. Close enough to food shopping yet far enough that you hear and see no one! Put out the humming bird feeders! We had so many fly up to the porch. Big kitchen and nice fireplace. Overall a dream vacation home.

pleasant stay at Mountain peak

cool place with pleasant views.. loved the location and calmness.. enjoyed the home. the road to reach the home was bit scary as it was very inclined , and the view from balcony was bit covered by the nearby bushes. overall nice stay :)
