On the Rocks is the quintessential New England cottage, "perfectly Scituated" on the ocean in Cedar Point. Literally steps from the Scituate Lighthouse and beach, famous Sandhills General Store and all that the area has to offer. Start the day with a coffee on the deck overlooking the Atlantic and end it with a cocktail in the same spot! In between, relax on the beach and explore the lighthouse. Take a trip to Front Street to shop, sip and dine with some of the South Shore's finest establishments. Huge wrap-around deck with additional large deck that goes right to the sea wall! The interior was clean and the newer heating system warmed the house wonderfully during our winter stay. All three of our adult children were able to join us and it was a special time. The property was very comfortable and very clean. Walking in the front door you immediately view the unobstructed view of the Atlantic Ocean through the floor to ceiling sliding glass doors of the living room. Wrap around porches and a lower deck area with seating and a table with shade umbrella. It was very private. Celebrated my retirement with family members and friends-lots of room for people to spread out. Charmingly decorated. Scituate lighthouse about a 2 minute walk away.
