Backyard Beach with Pool

Nestled at the back of a beautiful, two-acre property, this gorgeous, large farmhouse home includes a large, private pool, and a professional-grade beach volleyball court. (Note: pool is only heated between April 1st and September 30th due to weather conditions in Atlanta during Fall/Winter/Spring). Perfect for small family gatherings. Located only a short drive from historic downtown Marietta, downtown Woodstock, and multiple parks and shopping centers. 30 minutes to downtown Atlanta and 20 minutes to Truist Park/The Battery. Large driveway with RV hookup. Pets welcome with pet fee. Optional guest house available with queen bedroom, living room with queen futon and a shared bathroom. Inquire with host about pricing. Guest house is not rented to other guests while main house is occupied.

It was really close to all the things we wanted to do . Within 15-30 mins drive. In a good area . It had all the things that they said would be available. Would have like to know that there were only a few towels so I could have brought some instead of having to buy some when we got there . But all in all it was a good stay .

East Cobb Baseball Tournament Stay
Three families (9 people) stayed here for a baseball tournament week. Location was unbeatable for games at East Cobb. Enjoyed the house being set back from the road and private. Back yard/pool is a great space. The home itself had plenty of space and met our needs. Plenty of parking as well. Will definitely keep this property in mind for future tournaments in the area.

Loved the property! Amazing!!
We rented this property for our family and extended family who were visiting us for our wedding. We had a pre wedding ceremony and dinner party in this house. It was amazing. All our guests liked the house and we had loads of fun! Unfortunately council use the pool much since it was freezing cold outside. Would definitely love to stay here again. Perfect Family Gathering
We rented this house to spend the weekend with extended family. It was the perfect space for us to all gather for the weekend. There were plenty of large common spaces that were perfect for game nights and just gathering to visit or watch a movie together. The outdoor space was also welcoming and spacious and provided plenty of room for visits and games. The volleyball court was really fun, although I’d definitely prefer pickle ball 😁 The host was very responsive, helpful and kind.

Amazing house for active families
The house and host are amazing! The space is perfect for people of all ages with the pool, volleyball, pool table and large living room for families to congregate. The large kitchen made it feel like home and easy to feed everyone after a hot day at the field. We loved how nice and cool the house was kept and the ceiling fans in all rooms. The three master suite set ups were heavenly for privacy. The distance to Lakepoint is perfect! We all agree we will stay in this house again in a heartbeat!!! The owners were so responsive to any little concern and took care of everything we needed! We HIGHLY recommend this to all groups!

We were in town for 8days for PG WWBA Tournament. We had a total of 5 adults with 4 17yr old boys. We cooked just about every meal at home. Lots of space for everyone , plenty of privacy when you needed it, great outdoor space to sit by fire pit, play beach volleyball and swim in the pool...Would absolutely stay here again next time in Atlanta area...The place is less than 2miles from East Cobb complex, and other fields were typically 30-45mins away.

Book location with caution!
We, (total of 12 people, 6 adults & 6 kids), booked this backyard oasis for the location & relaxation. The backyard pool, sand volleyball pit & main living area was exquisite & entertaining for all ages to relax & have fun. Key points before booking: King beds were poor quality & very used with nothing but pits you fell into which made sleeping difficult. Queen bedrooms were just the perfect size for the average 11 year old boy! The other room photographed to have an oversized couch actually has twin bunk beds & two oversized bean bags. beanbags are not ideal nor is it adequate sleeping for 7 nights. The garage suite which was NOT air conditioned and not an adequate space for this listing to even include or charge extra. Poor cleanliness of dust, smell and sight of mold, bedding stains, dirty kitchen appliances, closets not usable, limited towels for all guests, 2 broken ceiling fans, holes in walls/ceilings & digital a/c wall units faulty caused main floor to be very hot. Property mgmt did his best to resolve the issues but some above his ability. 4 items listed on VRBO that weren’t seen on property which include ping-pong table, hair dryer, video games (wii), game room, & “exercise room/equipment” which lists’ elliptical, mat & weights. Overall, great backyard for entertaining & main-living, but unprepared for guests. As good as everyone says
This property is as good as all of the other reviews say. It is a great space to host an event or small gathering. We rented the house for a volleyball tournament that also fell on my daughters 18th birthday and so we wanted everyone to be in one place and this house worked perfectly. We had a brunch and I was impressed with everything the host had stocked. Definitely the best stocked rental that I have ever stayed in. I brought some supplied with me but didn't need them. We used the beach volleyball court and it was a lot of fun. It was too cold for the pool but it was clean and looked great. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen and living spaces ideal for any get together and the pool table and dart board fun. Property manager communication was great as well. , nothing but positive things to say about this rental.

A great place for family to gather
My family came for a few days to help me celebrate my 80th birthday, with a "Fantastic Beasts" party I had dreamed up! It was a great place to connect! With a pool table and other activities available as well as piano, all my grandkids felt at home! They helped me set up a party with a few additional friends! It was perfect!! There is plenty of room--more than it appears on listing. Westley, who was managing the property was very accessible. He was there if I needed anything.

BackYardBeachHouse was phenomenal!
We absolutely loved this property! Our family was unexpectedly displaced from our home due to water damage right at Thanksgiving time. Dave immediately responded to my request about the property and my family was able to swiftly and quickly move to the property. Communication was top notch and the onsite property manager Wes was so nice and super helpful with all of my questions and concerns during this stressful time. Location was perfect between both kids schools and near lots of restaurants and amenities. The house is beautiful and the first floor has been updated so nicely, but still cozy. We loved the open sunroom and giant bean bags to lounge on while watching tv. We also very much enjoyed the pool table area and relaxing in that space with a fire. The back yard volleyball area and pool are beautiful - only complaint was that the weather didn't allow us to enjoy it as much as we would have liked. Fenced yard was very convenient for our dog. We would have stayed longer but no surprise the property was booked through the end of the year. Our family would totally stay here again! Thank you BackYardBeachHouse!
