There is no other property in the area like Hawks Landing! Two homes with a massive flowing patio that stages the amazing view of Lake Quinault. Enjoy both homes with large groups up to 18 people, multi - families also great for reunions . ( one house can be rented, only on last minute bookings ).One house has three bedrooms with two queen beds in each room and the other house has 2 bedrooms with one king bedroom and two queen beds and one full bed in other room. There are Three bathrooms in the two bedroom home with two of them are private in each bedroom the third full bathroom is located on the first floor. The three bedroom home has two bathrooms , one upstairs and one downstairs. From this property you can easily access your own private lakefront area for kayaking or swimming in crisp clean water, or relaxing close to the waters edge. Create a campfire on the waters edge or in the firepit on the patio. There is a pool table located in a seperate building next to the homes. Hawks Landing is located in the heart of the Olympic National Park with the temperate rain forest, numerous trails for walks or hiking, and opportunities for viewing the impressive Roosevelt Elk just minutes away. On a regular basis, the majestic Eagles, the feisty Osprey, playful otters and the busy beaver hover around the grounds of Hawks Landing. This property has a panoramic view of Lake Quinault and front row seat of the moon rising from behind the mountains and wide open star gazing nights. The location on the lake is beautiful and the back patio, grassy area, and lake access were perfect for outdoor activities. We were within driving distance of forest hikes and a 45-minute drive to the ocean.Bedrooms are as listed. There is only one full bath in each house, resulting in waits for showers. Towels and bed linens were plentiful but have seen better days. The interior of the houses was very clean; the exterior was covered in cobwebs. Unfortunately, the luxurious views were not matched by the accommodations; the houses and property are very run down: broken windows and dishwasher, numerous missing lightbulbs, only one smoke detector in each house. There were few window coverings so the morning sun beat into bedrooms. The garage has a pool table but it was unusable with no working lights. Kayaks and life vests are provided but park personnel told us we were supposed to register them before putting them in the lake.Our biggest complaint was how hot the houses were to sleep in. We weren't concerned about no AC because we assumed we could leave windows open at night. However, only two windows on the property had screens and mosquitos eliminated the option to leave windows open without them. The result was very sweaty sleeping.It was disappointing that a property with so much potential is in such disrepair and there is such a lackluster attempt to make guests comfortable. Owner was nonresponsive to messages about concerns. ##### Sherry S. Good: Such a beautiful location! The kitchen has nearly everything you could need. It’s nice to have kayaks! The rooms are pretty spacious, and beds are relatively comfortable. Bad: Make sure you check if the outlet actually works before leaving your phone to charge, there were many that did not work at all and nearly all were loose so the plug might fall out. The check out process is pretty long and intensive. The inside was clean, however the outside was kinda dirty (outdoor furniture was dirty plus covered in spider webs). ##### Dana S.
