Escape the city to enjoy fresh air and beautiful Wonder Lake, just an hour northwest of Chicago. Lots of outdoor fenced area with trees overhead providing shade and tranquility. Views of the lake from multiple rooms and seating outside. Just a few houses from the beach, park and boat launch access for your enjoyment. Dog friendly. Walk to Wonder Lake marina just three blocks away to rent a jet-ski or pontoon, or have a hotdog on the water at Dock Dogs. Sit outside to eat at Napoli pizza or the McHenry VFW. On most Fridays and some Sundays, see the Wonder Lake Water Ski team put on a show! McHenry drive-in theater is nearby and one of the last of it's kind. Pick berries a few miles away at Stade's farm or get some fresh eggs at Bull Valley farm. Stop at Riverside Chocolate factory. Canoe on Nippersink creek or hike Glacial Park, all nearby.
