### Hidden Paradise Cottage

Hidden Paradise offers a stylish and spacious retreat on the serene narrows of Whitestone Lake near Dunchurch, Ontario. This beautifully appointed, single-level cottage sleeps up to 16 guests across five thoughtfully designed bedrooms—perfect for multi-family gatherings or extended family escapes. One bedroom is tailor-made for kids or cousins, featuring two double beds with single bunks above, creating a fun and functional space for younger guests.   
  
 The heart of the cottage is its open-concept kitchen, dining, and living area, where cathedral ceilings and large windows bring in natural light and lake views. The living room features cozy seating and an entertainment setup, along with walkout access to a full-length deck overlooking the waterfront. A screened-in patio adds to the charm, with comfortable seating and a foosball table, making it the perfect all-weather hangout spot.   
  
 Outdoors, a gentle slope leads to the dock at the water’s edge, ideal for swimming, lounging, or launching a canoe to explore Whitestone Lake. The location on the narrows means you can paddle or boat into Dunchurch, where you’ll find essentials including the LCBO, local markets, and other small-town amenities.   
  
 For those looking to explore further afield, the vibrant town of Parry Sound—with its waterfront trails, arts scene, and restaurants—is less than an hour away. Or take a scenic drive to Magnetawan, a historic village where the Magnetawan River meets Ahmic Lake, offering a taste of heritage Ontario and friendly, small-town charm.   
  
 Whether you're reconnecting with family or seeking quiet moments in nature, Hidden Paradise is the perfect blend of comfort, character, and classic Canadian cottage life.

 5 bedrooms (1 with king, 1 with queen, 2 with 2 double beds each, 1 with 2 sets of double/single bunks)   
 3 bathrooms (1 3-piece with shower only, 1 3-piece with tub only, 1 2-piece powder room)

 Unlimited Starlink internet   
 70’ smart TV for streaming only using your own accounts (no channel reception or DVD player), Smart speaker, Sound system   
 Fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, washer and dryer, additional mini fridge)

 Things you need to know:   
  
 Dogs up to medium size are welcome but all evidence of presence must be removed by guests prior to departure   
 Please note that, according to the municipality’s bylaws, all dogs must be leashed or tethered on the property when outside. Dogs are not permitted to roam leash-free.   
 Linens are provided – please bring your own outdoor towels   
 Fireplace is not available for guest use   
 Dock is not suitable for docking boats   
 Garbage and recycling removal is required prior to departure   
 Post departure cleaning is arranged immediately following your check out time. Please ensure the short pre-departure cleaning checklist is completed and you have fully checked out of the cottage by your departure time to avoid any additional cleaning fees.   
 The cottage has a smart TV that will allow you to sign into any of the streaming services you personally subscribe to. Please note, these services will require your personal login information and are not provided.   
 It’s a steep walk to the water deck. Children need adult supervision to access it

 Doorways are wide enough for walker or wheelchair access, Furniture spaced enough to allow for walker or wheelchair access, At least one main floor bedroom and bathroom, at least one bathroom with walk-in shower.   
 Cottage would not be suitable/easy for anyone with mobility challenges to access   
 Slope to waterfront could be challenging, but perhaps with assistance it could be navigable   
  
 Waterfront The cottage offers 40 feet of frontage on beautiful Whitestone Lake, with water depth ranging from 4 to 6 feet. The lake bottom off the dock is somewhat muddy with some weeds, but the water is generally good for swimming. Fishing is also a highlight here—whether right off the dock or farther out into the lake.  
 Sun Exposure Southeastern exposure provides both sunrise and sunset views from the dock.   
 Boating The dock is not suitable for dockingn boats.  
  
 Close-By Attractions   
 Deadman's Drop. For adventurous types, check out Deadman's Drop, 10 minutes from the cottage, near Dunchurch. Take the plunge off the rocks into deep water (if you dare).   
 Tower Hill Heritage Garden. Half an hour from the cottage, Tower Hill Heritage Garden is nestled amongst the trees atop the hill overlooking Parry Sound on Georgian Bay. The garden features a network of original flagstone paths connecting rock gardens, goldfish pond and raised pedestal sundial, all enhanced by flowering shrubs and perennials. (40 mins)   
  
 Charles W Stockey Centre and Bobby Orr Hall of Fame. The Stockey Centre for the Performing Arts is the venue for various musical shows and films. Beside it, the Bobby Orr Hall of Fame has a wonderful collection of past and present sports information that will appeal to a wide range of people, plus there are fun interactive activities for the whole family. (40 mins)   
  
 Screaming Heads. Unique site featuring a castle and the depiction of the apocalypse using screaming heads and scared hands, howling wolves, 4 horsemen of the apocalypse and much more! The sculptures are spread over 300 acres of property, with free admission by donation. (40 mins)   
  
 Winter Activities. Located near OFSC snowmobiling trail system. Whitestone Lake is also good for ice-fishing, ice conditions permitting. Whether you're interested in snowmobiling, ice fishing or ice skating, this is a great destination in the winter too!
