Crescent Beach, within just a short walk from the home, is a favored destination for sunbathers and families, the gentle waves perfect for swimming and sandcastle building. Head into Wells to stroll through picturesque streets of the “Friendliest Town in Maine” and discover the quaint shops, seafood shacks, and historic landmarks that line the bustline streets offering a glimpse into the town’s maritime heritage. At Wells Harbor, you can canoe or kayak up the Webhannet River or paddleboard around the calm waters, taking in the views from a whole new perspective. A visit to the Rachel Carson Wildlife Refuge will present you with the opportunity to learn all about the local flora and fauna, dedicated to the preservation of the natural habitat.
