Overall a great experience, but the water pressure was quite low, making it difficult to shower; odors from other units wafted in to mine; and the bed was not very comfortable.

The main concern was the kastle app that the hotel was using did not send me the pin to be able to log in to the app. Took forever to be able to figure it out with WhyHotel customer reception. But in fairness the lady at the office was exceptional in assisting my needs and gave me a key fob for the room. Thank you

It's shelter for the night, but the bed is uncomfy
It was easy to check in and everyone was really friendly, but the bed was very uncomfortable and hard, the blankets were scratchy feeling and uncomfortable. The room was beautiful. But you can also only use ONE of the multiple elevators they have because the others are only to be used by the apartment residents that are on the other floors. The couch was also very uncomfortable, it gave me leg numbness and pain while sitting on it and doing work. In the end, everyone was nice, and parking was cheaper than expected, but the price is still too high for how uncomfortable everything was. It's also kind of ridiculous to have multiple elevators closer to the rooms, but mandate you can only use the main one because the others are for the apartment tenants.

Perfect for a week in DC
WhyHotel Union Station was perfect for what we needed during our stay in DC. There were tons of food options within walking distance including Union Market. It was a quick walk to the Metro, making it easy to get to the sites. We had a car for a few days of our stay. The staff was very helpful in making sure we had access to the parking garage for those nights. Kitchen was stocked with the basics so we could make breakfast most mornings. Trader Joes is right across the street so we could stock up on groceries for our stay. The gym was well equipped so we were able to keep up with our workouts while traveling. There's a running/biking path nearby we used for our morning runs. Added bonus- the path leads to Lost Generation Brewing. Only negative was that it's located on a busy street. Ambulances regularly drove by with their sirens going. The traffic could be noisy at night.
