Great Location, But NOISY
Great location with short walk to subway, shopping, and U of T, etc., but also very noisy, from inside and out. The building was under renovation; there is a large apartment condo complex being built right behind the building, and the door to the unit was ill-fitting (large gap between the door and the door frame) letting in lots of sound from the hallway.
The unit is nicely finished, but the kitchen is not as well stocked as other VRBO locations. While it has a dishwasher, you would run out of cups, glasses, and cutlery (there were only 3 of each of these items) before it was filled. We had to buy our own dish soap, sponge, and paper towels to handwash dishes, and wipe down counters. There is a full sized range, with ceramic cook top and oven, but there were no bakeware dishes--only 2 small saucepans, a Dutch oven, and a tiny frying pan, none of which were oven-safe. Also, the TVs are not smart TVs, so we couldn't use them to access our streaming services, and the cable channels are SD, not HD (I know, 1st world problems). Our stay lasted 2 weeks, so all of these issues with the noise, kitchen, and TVs were an annoyance.
The staff were excellent, however--very responsive and quick to follow-up on requests, deal with issues, etc.
