Great location.

Posted 10-Jun-2017
Pros: Location.
Cons: Elevators were slow and several were out of service.
Location: Location is great, easy walk to the baseball stadium and several nice restaurants just across the street.
Conveniently located near the Rogers Centre and great restaurants. Easy to get to and comfortable to stay.

Nice hotel in great location for baseball games

Posted 6-Jun-2017
Great place! Not enough lighting in the room overall, would have been nice to have an extra chair in room (ours had one desk chair), and the bathroom had a frosted glass door which did not conceal light from shining into the main part of the room during midnight trips to the bathroom. Nice TV with some HD channels, comfortable beds, complimentary slippers, and lots of items you could have or borrow from hotel. Unfortunately there was an issue with the elevators during our stay which resulted in some long waits but the staff were fantastic and it is very clean and comfortable which more than made up for the delays. Starbucks adjacent to lobby area and Shoppers Drug Mart very close by. Hotel restaurant could expand its menu options a bit (there are only five mains for supper) but the food is fabulous. Overall, had a wonderful stay and would recommend.

Don't stay here

Only one elevator worked. Party in the room next to us was bad although the manager did get all the unregistered guests to leave condom on the night stand when we checked in unused thankfully Would not stay again

Pros: Everything
Cons: $60 for Sunday buffet is ridiculous and it wasn't that good
Great location close to many attractions . Lounge /bar had obnoxious loud people that should have been asked to leave

Great location, very busy hotel, great staff.

Posted 24-May-2017
Pros: Loved the location on king west. Walking distance to everything I love about the city.
Cons: Nothing. It was just the noise. Rooms were typical, nothing spectacular for the price.
Location: Second City Amazing restaurants, Patria, Brunches, and more. Tourist spots, CN Tower if you are from out of town. Fitness: Soul Cycle, Quad
Great hotel location. I have stayed at all hotels within toronto except the Hyatt. I was there for business. It was really loud. It was a Saturday night and based on the location on King I knew i was taking my chances, but the entire level of the hotel was so loud with people, music, and partying. It absolutely destroyed my weekend and my stressful early morning job. I am usually not stiff about a hotel being loud as that what weekends booked away are for but if the roles were reversed and I was partying that loud I would have been expected to be kicked out. I won't stay there again knowing I can stay at another hotel and have them take care of it.

Good hotel for it's price; room small

Posted 2-May-2017
Pro: It's a good hotel for its price. Con: The room looks small, probably due to the design of the room Had to fix the bathtub so that the water could drain

Good value deal bought on Expedia.Rooms very comfortable and very clean. Excellent base for the tourist sites. We walked everywhere and used the PATH. Our room was at the back of the hotel and was very quiet.

Great hotel in the entertainment district

Posted 28-Apr-2017
Pros: The location, friendliness and politeness of staff, cleanliness of rooms.
Cons: Instructions on hoe to set the time on radio alarm clock. Somehow it changed time but I left a note on the bed and room serving staff fixed it for me
Location: Really handy for theatres, cinemas, baseball stadium, CN tower, Union Station. I was able to walk to most places. Museum and Art gallery about 20 mins
The Hyatt Regency is perfectly located for the entertainment district of the city as well as other attractions such as the baseball stadium, CN Tower and aquarium. It is also within walking distance of Union Station once you know where you are going. The room was clean and comfortable with coffee/tea facilities and complimentary bottled water and a fridge. Ice was available in the corridor and there was a small supermarket on the next block should you need a few supplies. It has a great restaurant for breakfasts and dinners but is located near a huge choice of other restaurants. The reception staff were moist helpful as were the staff cleaning and servicing the rooms.

Would stay again

Posted 21-Apr-2017
Pros: Comfortable bed, coffee maker in room. Excellent gym.
Cons: More pedestrian friendly entrance..
Location: A flew blocks from St. Andrews subway station and a two minute walk to the streetcar stop. Close to the theatres and restaurants.
Handy location to the theatre district and subways. We appreciated that they did not permit visitors after 9 or 10 pm (cannot remember) and that staff didn't allow anyone up the elevators without a card key after that time. As a result, the hotel was nice and quiet through the night.
