The location is great, right across from the beach. The management were good to deal with. The unit itself had problems. The dryer didn't work, a light was out in the bathroom so it we couldn't use the mirror at night for hair and makeup, and the hot tub outside was not hot. The manager said he'd turn up the heat but it was still very luke warm when we tried to use it thereafter. In May when the weather is cool, the hot tub should be "hot" please. The building was very clean but had a foul odor once you got into the life and down in the carpark. Very septic smelling. Secure parking was good and it was quiet, no loud guests. I liked the little kitchen and the big t.v.

Hi GinaThank you for your review. I'm sorry to hear that the dryer was not working, and a light bulb was out, I hope that you informed the Manager at the time that this happened, I'm sure he would have tried to rectify this.As for the spa pool, there may have been issues at the time but have now been fixed, I agree a spa should be hot especially with the temperature cooling down.Unfortunately, we can't do much more than we do now in regards the smell in the lift and carpark, there is water that runs under the building and can become stagnant and when it rains, it flows better but causes a smell, as it gets washed out.Kind regardsChristine

Being in the heart of the Alexandra Headland area and in easy walking distance to all dining and necessary services was fantastic. The staff were always helpful. prompt and professional in their approach. The unit had all we needed. The pool was well cared for, clean and appreciated. I would have loved to have stayed longer.

30sec walk to the beach!!
Amazing apartment, with all the amenities and really big smart tv. 30sec walk to the beach and surrounding food. Highly recommend.

Wonderful weekend
From the time we got to Ocean Boulevard we were relaxed - greeted by the gorgeous Manager (I can't remember your name sorry). Flowers in pots outside, very clean and very inviting. Right across the road from the beach and walking track) which we wanted) and about 100m to Alex Headlands Surf Club. All front facing units which is what you want at the beach! GORGEOUS pool... OMG gorgeous! Quite deep which we loved, and a spa but it was so hot we didn't use that.

The property is old and is crying out for refurbishment.. The cupboards are hard to open, very slippery tiles on the floor (when we asked for an extra towel to use as a mat, we were told we had to pay for it). You get charged $30 if you don't do the washing up (no dishwasher)! The car park we had was so frightenly small. It took a lot of manouevring to get in. The internet cut out on the second day. The only good thing was Christine, the receptionist, who was friendly. Give it a miss.

Our Apartment was not very clean, not dirty but could do with wiping down surfaces. Television Controls very difficult -should be provided with instruction. Called Manager and they had no idea how to operate.Manager got someone to assist, but still had trouble. Got operating at the time but once turned off did not operate satisfactorily again. Just as well it was not too important for us.

Our checkin and checkout was so easy, the manager was very friendly and helpful. Our apartment was nicely renovated, it had everything to make our stay comfortable, the pool was amazing, clean and we spent an afternoon there. We could walk everywhere without getting into the car. It was nice going for long walks to the Mooloolaba Spit and Cotton tree. I can recommend to other couples.

Shocking very disappointed didn’t even get through the door, booked a room for two nights thru afterpay, arrived to then find out that afterpay and hotels.com have no signed agreement with Ocean Boulevard at all so rather disappointed I feel there should be some sort of compensation

We really liked the ocean view from the balcony, very close access to the beach just across the road, proximity to the boardwalk up and down the esplanade, the central location for everything you might want to drive to across the Sunshine Coast and all the nearby places to eat.

This property is in a great location and the room had ocean views. The staff were lovely. The designated parking underneath was difficult to navigate as some people can’t park, but staff were helpful in sorting out this problem. Unfortunately the bed was awful. It was the hardest, most uncomfortable bed I have ever slept in. Everything else was great apart from the bed.

Very dated, the bed was uncomfortable, the water was noisy and in and out, the crockery and cutlery need an update. A card system for the doors would be better than the keys which sometimes took awhile to work. Access to the courier mail was good and the Netflix option was also good.

Good central location to the sunshine coast. Easy walk to either of the main shopping centres. Morning walks are great, and many places to get coffee along the way. The rooms were clean and tidy, and perhaps needed a little freshen up but overall suited us fine for our short stay. There is the smell in the basement (car park) and lift, with water pooling but put this down to the mix of salt and type of rock accommodation built on and it was not present in any other area of building. Overall good spot!

Our apartment at Ocean Boulevard was lovely, with a sunny balcony where we sat most afternoons, enjoying the sun and watching the surfers across the road. The only drawbacks were the bed was quite hard, and the lift had an awful smell for the first few days we were there, but was rectified by the time we left. The bathroom was large, with a walk in shower, and a washer and dryer. The kitchen was also fully stocked, and had a cooktop, microwave and full sized fridge. The pool and spa had just been remodelled, and are very nice for a relaxing swim. The position is great, right opposite the beach, and close to restaurants, shops and bus stops. I'd stay here again, despite the bed.
