DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE UNIT AND INCLUSIONS

Aloberge 2 is the second of the Refuge's six units from the bottom of the canal. It is in the “ready-to-camp” category. with electricity (30 amps) ” and dogs are welcome .
The floating platform measures 12 x 26 feet and is permanently attached to the dock
The cabin is 10' x 12' in size and includes:
-Two single benches with slatted bases, one of which can stretch into a double bed (capacity to sleep 3, but accommodation is ideal for 2)
-The following kitchen equipment: compact fridge with storage compartment freezer, microwave, toaster, kettle, filter coffee maker and Keurig coffee maker with reusable k-cup, blender, basic dishes for 3 people, cast iron pan and/or wok for the barbecue, necessary for washing dishes, dog bowl, auxiliary table (long foldable bench)
-A water dispenser with 3 gallons of well water. (Running water is available on the quay and at the sanitary block)

-Small extra appliances if needed (heater / fan & air cooler)
-Towels for 3 people and bathroom items (hair dryer, first aid kit, small sample shampoo/shower gel EcoTrail
-Bedding for 3 people (pillows, set of single and double sheets).  BLANKETS NOT INCLUDED.
-Storage spaces (bench drawers, small shelves)
-Windows on 4 sides (anti-uv polymer films)
The large front terrace, 12' x 10', includes : -2 zero gravity sun loungers -A table with extension and 2 chairs -An electric mosquito repellent
The rear balcony includes : -Outdoor barbecue with round integrated cooking, barbecue utensils, barbecue plate or mat (propane gas optional) - Bench-chest with leisure items (balloon, boules, badminton rackets, frisbee)
On the site, the following infrastructures are included/free:
-Place to bring a small boat , if it fits next to the accommodation (the available space measures 8 feet by 15 feet)
-Two unisex bathrooms with showers, available less than a minute's walk away, at the site's captaincy
-Parking

-Wi-Fi from the sanitary block (not guaranteed from the accommodation)
-Access to the grounds of the Refuge and its other infrastructures: foyer exterior, fishing pier, volleyball court, small path, sand arrangement, tables, barbecues with briquettes.

*** NEW IN 2023: FREE ACCESS TO ALL SIX SMALL BOATS of Aloberge (1 tandem pedal kayak, 1 single kayak, 1 paddle board, 1 pedal boat, and 2 canoes), DURING A STAY OF AT LEAST TWO NIGHTS IN LOW SEASON 2023 (before June 16 and after September 16): VALUE OF $90 (*see conditions of use at the bottom of the page)


AVAILABLE AS AN OPTION

-Rental of heated blanket recommended in low season or during cold weather ($8/stay + taxes)
-Rental of propane gas thank (20 lbs) for the barbecue located on the terrace of the accommodation ($7.5/day + taxes)
-Daily access to all six (6) paddle boats d'Aloberge available on site in low season: a tandem kayak pedals, a single kayak, a paddle board, a pedal boat, 2 canoes: $45 per day of access (*See conditions of use at the bottom of the page). PLEASE NOTE that between Saint-Jean-Baptiste Day and Labor Day, the municipality plans to rent its own paddle boats in good weather.

TO BRING :
- Your blankets if you do not want to rent the heated cover. NB: The accommodation is not insulated/soundproofed, and the heating mode being auxiliary (small heater), it is strongly advised to bring very warm blankets in low season
- Briquettes if you prefer to use the barbecues on site
-Water shoes for swimming in the Richelieu (rocky pier)
-Mosquito Repellent Lotion
-Water jacket for children under 12, mandatory on docks and in small boats
-Wood for the outdoor fireplace
-Your equipment for the many possible activities in the region (sports paddling, biking, fishing, bird watching)
