I can't say I'm a picky person but when I travel I look for a few things to make my stay enjoyable. First and foremost, the people are very nice and always willing to help. The room is the typical size you'll find for other Parisian hotels and right next door there was a small bakery that had lots of wonderful things. The problems fell on some of the most basic necessities (for me at least).
1. The bed was hard and I could feel the springs. When dealing with jet lag and a long day of working (I travel for business) it's not the thing you look forward to the most.
2. The hotel is on a moderately busy street and with good windows, most sounds can be blocked out but I could hear EVERYTHING outside so that added to further lack of sleep. I've stayed at another hotel with good enough windows, so I was disappointed.
3. Then finally, the last thing I look for is a good shower to relax after a long day but my shower head was spraying everywhere so there was not enough pressure, and there was mildew on some of the grout so I basically ran in and ran out.
I won't be returning to this hotel the next time I am in Paris, but if you don't care about these little things then give it a try because the people are great and it's in a good location!
