Good location but not so good facilities. Breakfast was bad but for the price it can be rated as nice.

My stay at Howard Johnson at International Drive.

I found a couple of roaches, when I made the reservation the advertisement included a fridge however the room did not have it, when I asked I was told they did not have any at the time. Also, when checking out they gave me a roll of quaters ($10.00) as part of the change which is ok, however, when I got home and opened to my surprise I found 4 pennies instead of 4 quarters, wow.

Muy buena ubicacion, pero hotel muy viejo y descuidado.la limpieza deficiente pues solo cambiaron las toallas, estuve 11 noches y aunque lo informe nunca me cambiaron las sabanas, no dejaban ni paprl de baño barias veces tuve que ir al looby a pedirlo.

Way overpriced $120 for a rundown bedroom that should have been more like $35. The room was musty, and the bathroom smelled like mildew. Our feet got very dark after walking on the carpet barefoot. I will never ever ever ever sleep here again.

No frills but a nice stay

I should say that this is a "no frills" hotel, however, our room was very clean, comfortable, and we had good maid service while we were there. So all in all, it was a nice stay. We were less than 5 minutes from Universal Studios, which is the main reason we were traveling to Orlando.

NEVER AGAIN

We checked-in@7pm. There was a line & only one attendant working. She said she was only one scheduled, the computers and air conditioning had gone down. We're low key people so we waited patiently. 25 min later we walked into our room and it was FILTHY. It sounded as though there was some remodeling going on in the room next door and the workers may have been using this room for the restroom etc. Now for a budget hotel we were not expecting the Ritz but this was gross. The facets, the sink, the carpets, the shower, the light switches etc. all were dirty. After a long day a short 15 min nap would have been nice before dinner, NOPE. The walls are extremely thin & the workers sounded as if they were coming through the door. No nap for us. So up we go make it to our dinner party. Wanted a quick shower- no hot water. Took 5 min to somewhat "warm-up."....& The best part, at 12:45am being a light sleeper, I hear jingling etc. outside the door. Next... a so called maintenance man TRIED TO COME INTO OUR ROOM!!! Earlier,I had decided to use the door chain and that was the only thing the stopped this man from coming all the way in. My boyfriend jumped up, went outside and asked what the man was doing. His response "front desk made an error." Wow. In the morning we asked for the manager, she apologized and said since we booked through a third party she could only refund our taxes and fees. We will never stay at this hotel again and being locals another hotel will be seeing plenty of us.
