Hotel com excelente localização

Posted 3-May-2016
Recomendo

Not too bad for the price

Posted 13-Apr-2016
The hotel staff was excellent. Clean room, comfy bed, housekeeping came in every day which I liked. Didn't spend as much time in the pool area as we usually do while on vacation. Pool area was nice and clean tho. Hotel is undergoing renovations in some areas. Hotel is located in a perfect location on I-Drive.

Disappointing since new ownership

Posted 3-Apr-2016
So disappointed in this hotel since the change in ownership, although the hotel is undergoing renovations, none of this impacted us or our stay. I stayed here on several occasions during its time as Howard Johnson Inn and could not fault the place for the price. Check in was shambles, only one person manning the desk and 10 people waiting. Took 45mins to check in. The room didn't have a fridge as advertised and when requested, it took several follow ups with staff and over 24 hours to receive one. There were no towels in the room and after being told some would be delivered, I had to hunt down a cleaner a few hours later to obtain some. Rooms weren't being serviced until after 4pm most days which was an inconvenience to us and our daily plans. In addition, when rooms were serviced, towels were taken to be washed and new ones weren't left, once again had to chase up house keepers and/or reception to get new ones, toilet rolls and other amenities were also not re-stocked. Room keys stopped working on three occasions during our 6 day stay and time was spent waiting in reception to have keys reactivated. Wi-fi signal was poor and in our room, barely connected and we were only half way down the building. Breakfast is also served in a sister hotel a few doors up and this was not advised to us at time of check in. Had to follow up with reception (again) to get details of where breakfast was served since they turned the old dining room into a nightclub. Won't be staying here again.

Return Stay very disappointing

Posted 30-Mar-2016
Pros: The pool area is very nice and we liked having a shuttle to Disney provided
Cons: The breakfast provided , the condition of the hotel making sure everything is in a good work condi and providing a clock radio in the room
Location: Great location close to shopping many local attractions WET N WILD ETC, good restaurants and the Theme Parks
This was the 3rd time staying here It is no longer a Howard Johnson but the M We will not be back here again The Motel is under construction in a very disorganized way -Instead of completing a section then renting those rooms it is being done in a disorganized manner Also we had no linens little toilet paper ,and soap on check-in -no clock, our drapes were off the track and the hair dryer did not work in my son and daughter-in-laws room ,they did not have a fridge as requested ,they were short on linens too and the safe was locked so they could not use it The new floor tiles in our room were very uneven ,there was a large gap under both our doors We had to walk to another hotel for the very poor quality breakfast provided ALSO THE HOTEL IS BEING TRANSFORMED INTO A LGBT FACILITY I THINK as there are rainbow flags erected on the premises a rainbow painted parking hut , etc which will deter people not of the LGBT persuasion from staying hthere ,

Hotel bem localizado

Gostamos do hotel, funcionários e atendimentos ótimos. Veio de acordo com o que queríamos. Corresponde ao preço pago pois não adianta pagar sardinha e querer comer salmão. Caso volte, ficarei no mesmo hotel.

Over price and unreasonable comfort.

Posted 26-Mar-2016
Pros: free wifi in the rooms
Cons: basic needs of any hotels would due.
Location: the location was the best, but the hotel is the worst.
I could not .sleep due to the noise of construction work being done at this hotel. Management had no care to update anyone of the noise and smell of a new construction site. Instead their charged me over $100 a day to stay.I paid through expedia and was upset once i go to the hotel. I hope expedia refunds me back my money.. Rude, price gouging, smelly, noisy, and over priced. maybe in a year this place maybe worth the price, but not now and within the next five months.

Cons: Amanda at the front desk has NO customer service skills and was RUDE. The place is a war zone and should be shut down until it is safe for guests.
Location: Many restaurants and close to International. LGBT (Lesbian Gay Bisexual Transexual) club RIGHT next to hotel that blasts music until the EARLY hours!!
This was the Worst "hotel" ever! The small signs in the lobby said "under construction", but we had NO idea that the place was an industrial, UNSAFE WAR ZONE!!! There were bags of cement, dry wall, boxes of tile, mattresses, etc in every hallway of this place. Our room had an over-powering smell of lemon industrial cleaner. We had to open the door for fresh air. There was a huge dumpster outside our room where the workers from the floor above were throwing sinks, mirrors, etc over the top of the railing into the dumpster. The room directly above us was under construction and parts of the ceiling was falling on our bed. We went to the front desk to let them know that we could not stay because we did not feel safe and that this place should not be open. The lady at the front desk was SO RUDE and pointed to the signs "under construction". We were in the room for 15 min and explained that we did not feel safe, there were huge industrial saws blasting above us, the lemon cleaner was making us sick, etc and she said that she could not help us and that we could not get a refund. We asked to speak to a manager and she said that there were no managers and that she would have to email them. She would not give us the email address of the manager and refused to help us. This was the WORST experience I've ever had and I would NEVER think of staying here EVER again. It is shameful for this place to be open for business in the condition that it is in!!!! DO NOT STAY!!!!! PLEASE SEE PHOTOS!!
