I apologize that your room wasn't excellent, I will personally look into what happened. We do care and would have either offered you a full refund or another room. Stink bugs can be a nuisance but I haven't seen one of late. I will definitely check into this situation.

Thank you for staying. A new type room has been created the day I am writing this response, Davis Motel C-PAP room, specially saved for people who use a C-PAP room machine when sleeping. This room will only be rented to C-PAP users. Thanks again!

Understandably Davis Motel, a family owned and managed business for over six decades, is not a modern matchbox franchised facility however we work hard to offer a clean, reasonable priced and comfortable rooms with amenities that often surpass them. For example, bedside phone charges, free Wife and cable, with ESPN, Disney and over 60 other channels, great hot water pressure which makes for one of the best shower experiences than any other hotel or motel anywhere and there much more, free bottomless coffee available in are 24/7 office, complementary gift bag on arrival and great room front parking, yes there even more, dead bolt locks and 24 hour on premise manager to handle any issues, monitored security cameras 24/7, full service restaurant and lounge next door and a complementary area guide to all local attractions, plus the owner who is well versed in the area's history and is happy to assist you in exploring the truly historic places and events. Basically, what I am trying to convey is that Davis Motel has been in business long enough, for over half a century, that we have the confidence and experience to offer any traveler to the area a good value with hospitality a value we honor and respect. Many aspects go into creating an atmosphere of hospitality, one of these aspects is friendly and swift check in. For example, offering are exclusive Davis Motel welcome bag at check in, explaining location of room, best parking, eating and local tourist and recreational activities. Youngstown has a beautiful park system and world class free Art museum. We have a complementary convention and bureau magazine available in the office that gives excellent information on all these locations and activities.Another important part of creating an atmosphere of hospitality is providing convenient amenities and features in the room. For example, bedside phone chargers and great water pressure with plenty of hot water for showering and or baths.
