Hotel was great but I didn't realize the waterpark was mainly appropriate for kids 12 and under. I went with 4 teenage kids and there was really only one slide for them.

We booked from Saturday to Monday through Expedia for spring break. We then learnt that Canad Inns had a stay and play discount, but wasn’t on their website when we booked. No one offered us a deal or upgrade because of that. Not only was it super expensive, you have to pay extra for the pool and water slides. There are no weekend passes available for hotel guests to purchase. You get a “discounted” rate for the day. On the pool hours it said they were closed on Monday and Tuesday. But then we learnt as checking out the pool area was actually open for swimming on Monday morning and the slides were then open at 4pm. We would of let the kids swim in the morning if we had known that, but the girl working oblivious didn’t know the correct information. Not only was the pool and slides jammed packed with birthday parties, there wasn’t enough tubes for guests. people were waiting 20-30 mins for people to give up tubes for the water slide. Not enough chairs and seating areas around the pool. Altos was absolutely disgusting for breakfast. Not to mention we attempted to at Taveren the night before and that in it’s self was a horrible experience. Food wasn’t punched in for an order, drinks took 33 mins to come, food was cold, just a horrible experience. The rooms were a basic hotel room, expect no safe and when we arrived there was a puddle of water in the from our fridge leaking. We mentioned it to the front desk and and said they would send maintenance to fix it

It was terrible, there was no toilet paper, food and an exploded can in the fridge, dirty sheets, dirty tub. Dirty floors. And the hotel did NOTHING for me to accomadate anything for me. It was an over all BAD experience. Not happy and would like my money back.

The attached waterpark was great for the whole family. Unfortunately, our room was very warm and the cooling unit did not seem to be working properly. Guest Services said they would send someone to look at it, but it never happened. We enjoyed our stay overall, but we struggled to sleep well in such a warm room.

There was paint spattering all over the hotel room, from floor to lamps to phone. It was poorly cleaned with leftover candy still on the floor from the previous occupant. The TV did not work, sink hardly drained. The hallway is suffocatingly hot with missing baseboards and trim. Considering all this along with paying for amenities like swimming, it is not worth the price we paid.
