Family Visit to Niagara Falls & Toronto
This is a decent & clean place to stay and visit Niagara. The layout is fabulous & comfortable for our family of 5. For many avid VRBO renters, there are subtle nuances that add up to feel different from previous VRBO experiences.
Our host assumes we check email from a 3rd party domain (it felt like a phishing scam honestly) about instructions instead of getting information directly from the VRBO app. This easily could have been shared in the app to include the house number & entry code or keys. Mainstreaming communication to the app simplifies the experience.
Yes, bungalow indicates separate spaces but our family did clearly hear conversations and sounds from downstairs in the evening in addition to what sounds like a sump pump coming from the downstairs. When we rent from VRBO we anticipate having the place to ourselves. Having clearer communication without unfamiliar acronyms like STR that non-property managers simply don’t understand. It will help to explain that you’re using the term basement as the separate rental space as basement to me refers to the unfinished space at the bottom of the stairs explaining Naketa P’s review about safety until I walked down the stairs to verify and check the source of the pump sound.
Future renters will appreciate mainstream communications that include the possibility of a renter in the same building, the source of the pump sound, and pans to cook & bake with to making the VRBO experience feel similar to how it’s anticipated.
