Let me preface this review by stating that I did a same day booking. However, this is no excuse for the condition of the room I was given. There was absolutely no toiletries in the room so I was unable to shower, the toilet paper was on its last roll and a backup wasn't provided, the toilet tank was turned off due to a leak and a swarm of noisy mosquitoes wreaked havoc throughout the night. I tried calling front desk multiple times to have these issues rectified (around 7pm) but the phone rang out every single time. I did not receive a call back. The property is okay, the staff courteous and the breakfast was good but I still left feeling peeved about the multiple shortcomings in the room.

This was by far the beat place i've stayed in Negril! The property is not on the beach but there is beach access right across the street. They have a beautiful pool to lay poolside. The staff was friendly and had daily housekeeping service. The water was hot and plentiful. I only wish the bar was open and there was music playing throughout the property to make it seem a bit more livelier. I would definitely stay at this property again actually I didn't want to leave just yet. A full kitchen was very nice I was able to prepare my own meals, minus breakfast because that was provided free with our stay every day!

Loved the pool.. The beds were too hard, like sleeping on an ironing board! Dining area was up a staircase that was too difficult for me to come down. Staff was excellent in every way!!!

We are returning guests going on 4 years now. We are very pleased with our rooms, the facilities, staff, food and general sense of safety and hospitality. First of all keep in mind Jamaica is a very poor country. Their 5 star accommodations is our 3 star accommodations. Our cleaning lady Jackie was awsome and did a great job. We had all of our Landry done before leaving and only cost $10. Clean, dry, folded and everything came back smelling great. The hotel was quiet and I would stay there again. Right across the street from 7 mile beach, great location, great restaurants etc.

What a cute place! We stayed for 2 nights before moving to an all inclusive for the week. The front desk staff was polite and helpful. The property was clean and quiet. While not beachfront, it was a very easy walk across the street to the beach area. The dining area was good, but when they say cook to order, they mean it, so be prepared to wait. Having breakfast included was a nice touch and it was delicious! We will definitely be back!

To be honest, i was very apprehensive coming here but on recommendations of many, we tried. The place is far superior then the current pics, rooms and facility r incredibly clean, staff is beyond helpful and freindly. Hardest part of the trip is learning nothing happens fast and to simply slow down! Loved it and would gladly recommend to others!!!

We had a wonderful stay at the Rayon Hotel. The staff was friendly, warm and very helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent! We really appreciated the crossing guard and the beach connection across the street. We will definitely return to the Rayon Hotel.

Clean rooms. Across the street from the beach but the hotel has an arrangement with Sun Beach Restaurant and Bar that has chairs. Hotel has included breakfast. Very nice! Our room had fridge, microwave and table and chairs. We had 2 queen beds and an outside patio with table and chairs!

This property is absolutely beautiful. My room was comfortable, private and peaceful. It was also very clean. Customer service was great. I was only there for one night but look forward to returning.

The front desk, security guard and owner were rude and harassed me throughout my stay. I wouldn’t recommend anyone especially if you look like a native Jamaican to stay there. Shame on Rayon hotel.

This was our first time at the Rayon. We loved being right across from the beach so most of our time was spent there. The room was clean and our house keeper, Floreen was amazing and so friendly! If you are looking for a quiet, quaint place to stay and walking distance to so many things then this is definitely the place to stay. So much more fun and affordable than an all inclusive. We will definitely be going back next year!

Very bad
The tv didn’t work fully all the channels had a bad connection with hardly installed. the bar had not many choices of drink and was always empty with no staff to assist the furniture looked old and dirty with a funny smell coming from it I stayed for 3 days and our room wasn’t cleaned once fridge was broken also loads of dust and not very hygienic

The staff was absolutely amazing. They treated us so special. The groundskeeper overheard my wife and I talking about our anniversary, and when we came back from the beach, they had decorated our room so nicely, including balloons, and also had a bottle of wine. One day it rained all day, So the Owner had them prepare a special dinner for us that night, and everyone ate together in the restaurant as an event. The facility is an older building, but very clean. It’s literally right across the street from the beach, so you can walk across the street and onto the beach, and walk up and down the beach, where all of the restaurants, bars, etc are accessible. You can also walk on the sidewalk in either direction, leaving the hotel, and find Jerk chicken stands and Homemade Patties,(plate-sized overstuffed meat pies) and desserts, and local stores. This Hotel is a great Value. In other places, and did not nearly receive excellent, thoughtful Setlist, that we received at this hotel. Hats off to Allison, Garrett, Jaikiara, Coreen, Crystal, and everyone at the Front Desk. The Owner is approachable, perceptive, and concerned about his Patrons. We definitely recommend this Hotel. Not Luxurious, but cozy, clean, comfortable, and affordable.
