The property is well kept and very comfortable. The staff is very friendly and will do extra without you asking. It's a no tips property BUT.... . YOU GET WHAT YOU TIP FOR and PAY FOR if (HOUSE KEEPING & the All Inclusive Bars) are important to you.

The staff were the best part of the RIU Palace Resort. I also loved how we could visit both RIU Montego Bay and RIU Reggae, while they could not visit RIU Palace. Palace is definitely the place to stay if you want to have a good time without a long wait for drinks. The staff (Paul, Demar, Mo, Bri, Shaneal, Camille) even remembered our names. We had an amazing time. The food/dinner wait times left a lot to be desired, but that wouldn't keep us from coming back!

Loved this RIU property for its size and room cleanliness and amenities to promote interaction with other guests (pool activities, meeting places, entertainment). We had so much fun and met so many nice people as we were able to see them each day quite easily. Although we did appreciate that we did not have to line up to book the restaurants as they were walk in, we did find that they were less willing to fill up for a second serving. The food on the buffet was quite varied and appealed to many ethnic tastes, although the variety within each ethnic group could have been better...except the amazing Jerk Chicken on the beach...had it every day!!! Dinor and Jermaine in the Daiquiri bar were top notch and Sharon at the Mojito bar was so pleasant and efficient. We looked for Carly for our breakfasts and lunches and Nasnae (spelling) for our evening buffet meals for excellent service from both. We decided on this resort due to its closeness to the airport in Montego Bay and were not disappointed. Only disconcerting item was the short turn off to the resort...the roadsides were filthy and very cluttered and no curb appeal at the gate to this resort. We were wondering who may have chosen this type of resort and soon realized it was us...not a good first impression at all...so glad that it was awesome once we got inside. We would come back to this resort for a quick get away again.

The front desk staff especially the lady that checked us into our room and baggage guys were very friendly and accommodating. The food was delicious. The drinks from the bar was a hit and miss. The Bob Marley drink was the best! Our waitress, Charisse, was very friendly. We loved her personality. She was our waitress on most nights. We will definitely be back to RUI Reggae Montego Bay!
