The adult side was definitely better than the Grand Bahia Principe. The Grand needs to be updated.

Bahia was a nice resort. The resort had several activities throughout the day to keep you entertained. The pool was very lovely. However, I wished it stayed open a little later than 7pm. The food could’ve been better but it was decent. The jerk chicken was a hit! However, there were flies and gnats on some of the foods especially the fruits and the desserts. Not just a few but ALOT of gnats all over the fruit. I hope the staff reads this and consider some type of Saran Wrap or cover for the foods.

Roaches on the buffet in several restaurants throughout the hotel . Very noisy in the hallways of your rooms .limited top shelf drinks at the pool or sometimes at the main bar. Toilet over flooded.

Very disappointed with customer experience. Coffee maker had used grounds in it on check in. Staff did not give us a good overview of the property, restaurants, activities, etc. AC in room was ok other than 1 night it did not work. Housekeeping was good, but never knew what you would have for towels, 1 day got a full set replaced and then the next only had 2 towels in the bathroom after service. They did not always refill fridge, every night had to call desk to get waters. Scheduled massage they changed times and did not notify us and we could not make the time frame work. Had to argue to get refund for service.

We were very disappointed in this property. Although the property was immaculate the staff was not helpful. Did not explain all the amenities the shopping on the family side, we got there a day late due to the airline and they would not assist us with any type of credits for the nights stay to return to their facility at another time. Food was satisfactory but not excellent. Im just very disappointed in the staff and assistance here.

Honest and LONG review alert! Let me start by saying my wife and i are 41 and 40 years of age. We live the Caribbean. This is our 2nd all inclusive in Jamaica but we've stayed in at least 10 others throughout the Caribbean. We love more of a party vibe vs quiet and relaxing. That's just some background before the review So let's start with "The Good"...Entertainment is excellent. We stayed in the adults only side and we were not disappointed. The pool staff kept us entertained EVERY single day. Disco was also good 2 out of 3 nights we attended. Food is better than most all inclusive resorts (especially the Knife restaurant). Shopping is great on the resort... especially since you can negotiate the price. There's shopping near the buffet and also in the resort village where negotiating price is ok. Property is also VERY beautiful outside The BAD... the rooms need renovations! That should be the number 1 priority for this resort. I was told that some buildings on the family side have been renovated do maybe they are making their way to the adults only side. I hope so. Also, this might be the worst selection of "included" alcohol. My wife and i like to drink. Compared to iberostar grand in Montego Bay and other resorts in the Caribbean, this resort is at the bottom. They charge for anything we were familiar with. We ended up leaving the resort and purchasing a bottle of Hennessy on our own ($106 for a liter smh). Iberostar gives you these kind of liquors free.

Recently just got back from my week vacation at Bahia and overall the experience was great. My boyfriend and I thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We didn’t get to go on the excursion that we wanted to Negril and Rick’s Cafe which I think would’ve been awesome to go jump off that cliff. The staff was great and very friendly made you feel very welcomed. We definitely weren’t used to the humidity, we are used to dry heat and we were showering a lot and a perk I thought was great is that housekeeping comes to clean the room they changed the sheets towels, etc. Later in the evening they stop by again to check and see if we needed more towels or blankets and we definitely did, thankful for that service. They had a lot of entertainment thorough out the day, we didn’t really get involved until the weekend when we were spending our time by the poolside. We utilized the gym almost everyday that’s probably something they could improve on is having more equipment. Things that were ok was the air conditioning wasn’t the greatest, the tv also didn’t work but I think that’s due to the hurricane. Showered leaked into the toilet area, floor was wet all the time. Our hotel door looked like someone busted it open. I brought my portable door look so that made me feel safer. We’d consider visiting again
