The property is beautiful! The staff is super friendly.
Services are slow…. broken curtain (couldn’t close) took 2 days to repair after numerous calls. My friends room key stopped working, and they had to wait almost 20 minutes in the heat, someone finally came only after my friend threatened to go to the lobby and cause a scene. We both called for bellhop to take our luggage to the lobby, and although it was confirmed, we walked our luggage ourselves only to be greeted by one of the 4 or 5 bellhops standing around as we reached the lobby. I bought a $15 dollar bag of Doritos from the resort store, they were staled! Sorry mon, no refund exchange only!
We were told that we didn’t need to make reservations for the restaurants in the property as we checked in……. first thing they ask when you get to the restaurant is, “do you have a reservation”. Now we get put on a waiting list for an hour and a half to eat. We ate breakfast at the recommended Ocean Point Bistro, and although it was early, they were out of everything.
The Hideaway pool was awesome! The staff, the drinks, were great! I just wish they had music playing the whole time. There were a lot of silent moments. During the FIFA games, they put 1 tv on the bar facing the sidewalk side so, those of us in the pool could not see the game. You figure, a resort like this can afford to put 2 tvs at the bar.
