I did not stay at this hotel From the 11th to 15th Nov? Ibooked on Friday 9th Nov via Expedia and was phoned on Saturday 10th by The Lindum to say that the Chadwick had closed and I had been moved there. I could still find this hotel on Expedia after I received the call, so not ideal really.

A bit dated but the rooms are spotlessly clean. The bar is ok but expensive. Breakfast is nice if a bit chaotic. Overall, a nice hotel for the money that could do with some updating.

No pool!

Very disappointing that the swimming pool was not in use as this was the main reason for the choice of this hotel as we were travelling with our grandchildren. Room was quite comfortable although quite small. Breakfast was busy and the various items at the buffet had run out and were waiting to be replenished.

Excellent value for money

Quiet location but close enough to buses going towards Blackpool. Good facilities ie swimming pool etc but very good when not busy. Reception staff were excellent; always friendly and polite. Would recommend this hotel.

No pool access

The Chadwick was a good reasonably priced hotel but we only booked it as it had a swimming pool. On arrival the pool was closed for maintenance all day and then on Monday and Tuesday mornings it was closed til 12.30 for a toddlers group. I feel this should be explained on their website as I would have chosen to stay elsewhere our kids were very disappointed

Good value for money

Nice hotel stay for a couple of nights with my son, good local amenities, and a 5 min drive to Blackpool sea front. Comfortable stay, room needs a little tlc especially in the bathroom. Only grumble being the swimming pool was closed during our stay.

We won’t be back

Room was very dated. The bathroom window was broken so it was stuck open making the room very cold. The radiator was also broken. You can feel every spring in the mattress. The tv remote was so dirty we didn’t touch it. We were in a room next to the lift which meant we could hear noise in the room all night. There seems to be a severe lack of communication between all the receptionists. Definitely would not stay again.

quiet get away

hotel was quite a size but needs a lot of tlc.decor etc.staff ab spot on.dead keen to help.never ate here so can't comment.ideal place for walk along beach or play expensive golf!!

Won't be staying again!

We stayed here at the weekend when the kite festival was on. The room was relatively clean and spacious and the beds were comfortable. Won't be staying here again though. The bar lady has bad manners. She was really rude to us when we asked about food. There wasn't any apparently because the hotel had encountered problems with a delivery, which is surprising as it was a weekend. We asked the lady if we could have a straw for our little one and she abruptly just said no. Very unprofessional. Was hoping to try the afternoon tea but never mind.

Very Tired.

Dining room had been decorated and re-carpeted but the staircase was a discrace.Sticky banister with no paint and threadbare carpets. Poorly made doors between bedroom and bathroom which you had to try and jam shut. Ripped lino that had sticky tape as a repair. If you opened the window it caused the door to knock .

Ok break for the older end.

Standard hotel no frills a little bit tired in places and a fair walk to the town centre. Evening meal choice a bit limited breakfast ok . The lift is a through back to a bygone age fits 3 in a single line just and when you press the floor button the doors snap to like Arckwrites till makes you smile.

This time disappointed with stay

helpful staff, great location close to amenities but the pool was full of kids jumping in where toddlers playing, and parents letting them run riot. The sauna was not working I pulled the beds out and the skirting boards and under the bed was full of dust and bits of food not been cleaned for months. Also the carpet on the stairs hadn’t been hoovered there was bits all over it
