The host was extremely upset about our late arrival, despite the fact we let him know of the delayed arrival time, and told us a few times that we "ruined his Saturday". We had to struggle up 35 steps with suitcases and a baby; the host did not extend help at all while he was watching us from top of the landing. Since this is not a keyless entry property, the host had to wait for us to let us in personally which I understand. Be sure to let the host know that your arrival time does not "inconvenience" the host.2) Property: Great location. 20 minute walk to major tube stations, depending on the line. Buses run just around the corner. There are grocery stores, bakeries, restaurants and other shops within 2 minute walk from the property. The beds are comfortable and clean. There is a balcony where we sat and relaxed in the evenings. One bathroom had smell from the sewage coming up the pipe. ##### Hyon G. Séjour de 8 nuits en juillet 2025 ### 2/10 – Terrible #### Christopher H. 15 juill. 2025 Points faibles : Propreté No hot water-I had to switch on the boiler.The floors & kitchen counters were filthy.The ensuite bathroom smelled like an open sewer.Hot-the apartment is at the top of the building & the skylights have no sunshade.Neither bathroom extractor fans worked.The refrigerator looked as it had been attacked with a hammer - the inside wasn't much better.The common areas & stairs smelled of mold.The host stated that the dryer part of the washer/dryer didn’t work as ‘it burned the clothes’. Fortunately for us, the weather was hot and relatively windless so we put the clothes on a rack outside & they dried quickly. But it would have been a pain if it had been raining.There was a large cabinet parked outside entrance door to the apartment, partially blocking it.
