Stress immediately melts as you drive through the gated entrance and travel the tree-lined driveway to this charming cottage nestled among acres of woodlands on a small pond. Recent updates include: fresh paint, new furniture including a king-size bed, new bedding, all new appliances, wifi, two smart TVs, and a full-sized sofa bed with a memory foam mattress. This property is fully equipped with everything you could need for an enjoyable stay. Love outdoor dining and grilling? Try out the large Big Green Egg, we supply everything you need including briquettes, grilling tools and even an instruction book with recipes! Enjoy peaceful walks through the woods or around the pond, the host even supplies you with two fishing rods and a tackle box so come rest and enjoy! Please note: This property has steps to enter the cottage and one small step into the bath and kitchen areas so it is NOT wheelchair accessible. MORE INFO: This is a private and restful property. You will enjoy the cozy and well-appointed cottage as well as the outdoor areas that include a delightful deck with two rockers, a dining table with umbrella and four chairs and a large Big Green Egg for grilling! There are also acres of woodlands to explore with plenty of additional outdoor seating spaces around the pond. Because this property is so close to the city limits it is only a short drive to great restaurants, shopping, and all downtown Laurel has to offer. Once back at the cottage, enjoy the peace of a quiet evening on the delightful deck while listening to the crickets and frogs from the comfortable porch rockers. This place is also the perfect spot for enjoying a great novel or maybe even writing one! Need to do a little work, no problem! The small dining table in the living room expands and it is perfectly positioned for guests to enjoy beautiful views of the pond while finishing a work project. The coffee bar has a Cuisinart coffee machine that is dual-purpose: single-serve KCups are available or brew a full pot! The host provides KCups and coffee condiments for up to a 5-day stay! Bring your own ground coffee if you like to prepare full pots. A Blue Pure Max air purifier was recently added! Guests enjoy full access to the entire property and grounds. There are NO SHARED SPACES and you will feel totally safe with the coded/gated entrance as well as the secure keyless entrance into the cottage. He even had bite size variety chocolates in a bowl, milk, cheese and Coca Cola products including bottled water. Now I know what a real five star rating looks like. The property is beautiful, Lee even had fishing worms available and the poles ready for fishing in his pond. We will be back and appreciate the stay. It starts with the wonderful drive from the gate to the cottage and the pond is outstanding. The cottage is immaculate and is stocked with everything you would need. The host has thought of so many extra touches, even a Green Egg grill… which we used to grill steaks and eat in one night while admiring the pond and scenery. It was absolutely clean, quiet, well-appointed and superbly stocked with anything we could have asked for or wanted for our week away. Communication with our host was A++. He even had fresh worms ready for my hubby to use for fishing in the pond and mid-week housekeeping to freshen up the cottage. This was a fun week away from Minnesota’s cold and snowy weather. Our first visit to MS from Las Vegas was made perfect by the warmth, comfort and seclusion of this adorable cabin home. Everything was clean, doors were secure, the private gated entrance was a great layer of security, and all amenities were provided! The snack cabinet was a bonus and we appreciated the creamer in the fridge for our arrival! We fished multiple times a day and caught several bass and blue gill. The bait was fresh and the poles were handy. This was like walking into a postcard. We are already planning our return! Thank you, Lee! ##### Kristin R.
