Inside the cottage, an inviting open plan living/kitchen/dining space features a country-cottage-themed decor, including vertical panels, flagstone floors, and wooden beams above. The kitchen is well-equipped whilst the wooden dining table with six chairs is perfect for enjoying any culinary delights you create. There’s also a charming window seat, adding to the cosy atmosphere. The living room is the perfect spot to unwind, especially on chilly evenings, with its excellent wood-burning stove. Here, you can relax and immerse yourself in a favourite novel. Upstairs, the cottage offers three beautiful bedrooms. The first is a spacious single room with dark wooden beams whilst the two additional bedrooms feature plush kingsize beds, elegant bed frames, and curved beams. One of these rooms has stunning preserved stonework, while the other offers an en-suite shower room. A family bathroom with stone decor and a fabulous bath invites leisurely soaks. Outside, a private courtyard garden with seating provides an ideal space for alfresco dining or breakfast before setting out on your adventures. Beyond this peaceful retreat, you can explore Launceston, an ancient market town with various amenities, shops, and an 11th-century castle perched on a hill. Discover the enchanting Bodmin Moor with its striking tors and mystical stone structures, or visit Jamaica Inn, a once famous smugglers’ haunt, then head west to the dramatic north coast. Just a 30-minute drive away, you’ll find the picturesque village of Boscastle. Nearby towns like Port Isaac and Tintagel are a must visit too, whilst Trebarwith Beach offers stunning sandy stretches, cliffs, and caves. To the east lies Devon, with the rolling green hills of Dartmoor, where free-roaming ponies and breathtaking countryside views provide perfect settings for year-round walks and adventures.
