"Interesting to have an apartment! Could have used some amenities like bottled water and snack options. Bathroom safety a bit of a problem with high tub and no safety handles to help get in and out. Beds comfortable and sense of space a lovely change from a hotel room."

"We arrived in the evening and got a really bad room, with paint peeling in areas, a bathroom not much bigger than on an airplane, and our window looked straight into another close by building with a view into somebody’s bathroom and loud TV at 3 AM. Very substandard accommodation and we were able to switch the next day, but the staff was a little bit put off by the request and there was a lot of miscommunication between the staff members. The new room was nice, although the air conditioning was super loud and not very strong. My other complaint was that the breakfast was only so so, and with the coffee being very weak and watery, croissants stale, and the staff of 1-2 people hidden in an area where they could not see much of the room and mostly talking to each other or scrolling on the phone. I had to ask them to refill the coffee one day and the next day I had to ask them to clear the tables as there were no clean tables in the entire breakfast area. I think the management needs pay more attention to this, because certainly they could be refilling coffee and maybe making a better breakfast. On the plus side, the cleaning staff was very nice, as well as most of the front desk people."

"The 1st room we had smelled like paint. The washroom door was newly painted. The AC was loud, old, dusty and we were not able to turn it on so we called the frontdesk. Front desk was not helpful, very dismissive - we were asked to stay in the room that smelled paint amd be moved next day. We moved to the next door room, it was better but not good. The parking is very steep and it scratches the bumper of our car because of a sudden dip on the entrance of the basement parking. The location of the hotel was good though. Very accessible and walking distance to old Montreal."
