"The room had no AC which made it burning hot, very irritating. The fan only spread hot air around. I couldn’t manage being there for more than a few hours. Had to cut the trip short. "

First I was impressed by the security guard who carried my heavy suitcase up the winding stairs to my very spacious balcony! Then the beautiful forestry of bamboo trees, fruit trees, and various plants all there on a daily well kept lawn. There is a bar on the beach. The friendly bartender is always so eager to concoct your drink/juice to your order. The curried goat dinner was really delicious. The room was clean and cosy with ac, hot water, cooking facilities and utensils.

This was our second stay at CocoLaPalm. We originally stayed as a couple in April, 2023 and had a wonderful vacation. The property is well managed and clean. Staff are absolutely incredible. When my husband asked about having a special dessert (Toto!) prepared for my birthday, they arranged to make it happen on site. We return for our second stay this year in March, 2024, bringing our 7 and 5 year old children along. We were a little apprehensive about doing so as we did not want to ruin the...

We can’t express how much we enjoyed our stay. The property was beautiful - clean, cozy and beautiful interior; gorgeous, gated property with lots of comfy and shady places to relax outside; a crystal-clear and well-maintained pool.
Andrea was a wonderful host who you can tell truly cares about you and your stay. And chef Conroy not only blew us away every single morning with some of the tastiest food we’ve ever had, but also was very helpful in suggesting places to see, things to try, and...

I had a platinum swim up suite. It was beautiful! My butler, Thornille, went above and beyond constantly (including getting me a very personal/emotional) gift for my birthday. I never needed to ask him for anything since he was anticipating everything I would want or need before I knew that I needed it. The rest of the staff was incredible as well. Bartenders are friendly and efficient. I did have a few hiccups at check in and throughout my stay, but no one is perfect and they did everything...

We had a wonderful experience at Travellers. The staff are kind and genuine. Beautiful beach, clean facilities, and we loved the small size. It was more intimate and we got to make more connections, as well as explore Negril. The resort is Jamaican-owned and family-owned, and they operate the NEET, an organization that helps educate kids and care for the environment. It’s nice to know your travel dollars are going to a good cause.

I first stayed at the Tree House in mid-80's and have been returning as often as I can get to Negril. This hotel has a hominess to it that is missing at many hotels and this has to do with the staff, the management and the general ambiance of the place. The location is excellent - it's on the beach and smack dab in the heart of Negril. The beach is clean and the water is the perfect temperature and not rough at all. This is a great hotel for couples seeking a romantic getaway but also for...

This is such a beautiful property in such a special place. It wasn’t very busy when I was there, but I think even if it was, it would feel very peaceful. The staff is amazing. Just absolutely amazing. I’m also including the Rhodesian Ridgeback dogs that just wander around the property. Theyre sweethearts. I feel bad for how many people feed them, though.
Such a magical spot, the cliffs, the ocean, the aesthetic of everything. I highly recommend.

Such an beautiful resort with amazing personalized service, food and ambiance. The Cliff is a true 5 star experience as I can say I had no complaints or disappointments! The location is perfect with a quiet, peaceful design which offers the choice of swimming in the amazing pool or snorkeling in the ocean which was my personal favorite, sun tanning by the ocean and watching sunsets which can only be described as extraordinary. Tingalaya's was an absolute top experience during our trip in Jamaica. We (family with 3 teenagers) started our trip there, loved it so much that we changed our itinerary (a journey across the island) and booked two additional nights to end our trip there. Rooms are spacious, personal, colonial-style jewels. Maria and the team are gems. A very personal experience! When we came back we were welcomed by David, the owner of the place. We spent the rest of the day together: we went to the markets...

Friendly and conscientious staff. Close to the beach - no issues getting lounge chairs which was nice! The front desk staff were very helpful in making reservations for us and advising on prices we should be paying for things. We thought we'd eat off-site more than we did, but the food and prices were so good. Eating lunch at the bar/on the beach was great. I wish I had brought "to-go" coffee mug with me for the restaurant or that from the beginning I had rented a coffee maker for the room...

Property was great! I was there last year and there was more entertainment daily by the pool last year which we really enjoyed, but not as much this year. Still upset to see no Jamaican patties at resort! Staff at resort is great!!
The LasBrisas pool bar I can’t recall their names I think it was Bartenders Kerome, Philip and I can’t remember the name of one of them in black uniform who sang Happy Birthday to me and delivered the drink to me on his head.

The best area to stay in Kingswood is along Kingswood Beach, particularly in the vicinity of the main road that runs parallel to the coastline.
This area is the heart of Kingswood, offering direct access to the beach and the majority of the village's amenities. You'll find a selection of guesthouses and villas lining the beachfront, with local eateries and small shops dotted along the main thoroughfare. It's a relaxed setting, known for its beautiful sunsets and the gentle rhythm of local life.
For couples seeking a romantic getaway, staying right on Kingswood Beach provides an idyllic backdrop. You can enjoy strolls along the sand, dine at beachfront restaurants, and relax to the sound of the waves. The focus here is on relaxation and enjoying the natural beauty of the Caribbean.
Solo travellers looking for a tranquil escape will also find Kingswood Beach appealing.
When is the best time to go to Kingswood?
The best time to go to Kingswood, Westmoreland, Jamaica, is during the dry season, which typically runs from December to April.
During these months, you'll experience consistently sunny weather with lower humidity, making it ideal for enjoying the beaches and outdoor activities. The average daily temperatures are comfortably warm, usually ranging from 25°C to 30°C. This period avoids the heavier rainfall that can occur during the wet season, ensuring your plans are less likely to be interrupted by showers.
Couples looking for a relaxing escape will find this time great for enjoying the tranquil beaches and taking part in water sports without the concern of rain. The calm seas and clear skies create an idyllic setting for romantic strolls along the shore or enjoying a sunset cruise.
For those interested in exploring the natural beauty of the region, including the nearby YS Falls or the Appleton Estate, the dry season offers the most comfortable conditions for excursions.
