I had the pleasure of meeting Renee which is one of the owners of the hotel. Renee was super welcoming which it was my footsteps time staying at Rondell Village. All the staff was friendly and great.. definitely will be staying there again.

We absolutely loved our stay here. The 1 bedroom villa offers a private hot tub just steps away from bedroom. The grounds were clean and beautiful. The staff is extremely friendly and responsive. The pictures don’t do it justice.

Lush, tropical and private. Rooms needed an update but clean and enormous (stayed in 1 bedroom villa). Not a lot to do/places to eat nearby - very rustic, local places only. Limited amenities on-site but if you are looking to just relax on beach, it’s perfect. Staff was friendly and attentive. Restaurant was quite good.

The Good: Rondel is a decent resort - dated, but clean with direct access to the beach. Duran the lifeguard is awesome and really looks out for the guests! The Bad: the restaurant sucks! Dinner the first night we arrived with Natasha as our waitress was pretty good, but it was all down hill from there. We were served old pizzas for lunch and cold steak for breakfast and the food takes forever to come out. When my daughter complained about the steak, the response from the waitress was “are you going to eat around it”! It was almost as if by dining there we were inconveniencing the staff. The bar is not open during the day either. The fact that the restaurant was terrible forced us to pay a driver to take us to other places to eat or walk, but this added costs to our trip. We did find some gems right down the beach - Marley by the Sea (Cocolapalm) and chill Awhile Restaurant (idle awhile) and the Blue Mahoe - all 3 had great service and great food! We ate at chill awhile twice. If we visit Jamaica again we will stay at a resort with a fully functioning restaurant and bar with great service and great food!
