Fantastic House on Sunset Coast of Cape Breton Ideally Located on Island

Family-friendly vacation home in Inverness
Our little piece of heaven is a 3-bedroom recently constructed farmhouse nestled in the hills of our private 86 acres in Broad Cove Marsh, Inverness. From the house and the porch you can enjoy beautiful views of the sunset glistening off the distant ocean. In summer, the beaches are magnetic, and the water is actually quite warm (warmer than Maine and Massachusetts). Just 8 minutes from Inverness Beach and the world-renowned Cabot Links Golf Course. In the Autumn the property's foliage is a burst of color and there is a wood stove as well as central heating - be sure to check out Celtic Colors Festival in October! The west coast of Cape Breton offers some of the most stunning sunsets to be found anywhere. Our house is perfectly located for convenient access to the best Cape Breton has to offer. Nearby you will find beaches, golf, trekking, kayaking, biking, fishing, and numerous scenic drives. It is a lovely drive to the Cabot Trail (Cape Breton Highlands National Park). Free wifi and limited free telephone will help you make plans to enjoy these activities.
The house is bright and airy with wood floors throughout. The open floor plan allows for larger groups to mingle while preparing meals, dining or relaxing. Linens/towels are included and beds will be made up in advance so that you can relax upon arrival. The 1st floor bedroom has a double bed. The second floor master has a queen bed and plenty of floor space for an air mattress, The bedroom upstairs has both a double bed and a single bed and there is also a small cot suitable for a child. Our home is equipped with all the amenities, such as, dishwasher, laundry room, tons of cookware, BBQ grill, and more! In this area you will find an abundance of music, art, museums and other ways to enjoy the rich heritage of Cape Breton. We are excited to help you plan your trip if you should desire and will send you lots of information.

5/5 Excellent

Comfy family cottage!
We enjoyed our stay very much, appreciating the peaceful views off the back deck and comfortable accommodation. There was not one household item that we were in need of that was not available at the home. The cottage was in reasonable proximity to the downtown, the beach, Cabot Cliffs, Cabot Trail and Highlands National Park- all enjoyed by our family of four. The home was roomy enough for our two teens to carve out their own space and allowed for a comfortable reprieve after busy days out enjoying Cape Breton. Comfy, clean and relaxing. For Canadians: Note that fees are in US on this site. It does not covert like Airbnb so that caught us a bit off guard.

Beautiful location comfortable and spacious house
We had a wonderful stay. It is a very comfortable spacious house. Very private and yes beautiful sunsets over the water from the large wrap around deck, or through the wall of windows and the glass door. Conveniently located near the town of Inverness and some of the finest beaches. loved it

Great property
Wonderful Location, great house.

Great Location
We enjoyed our stay at Paul's Perch. The house is well built and and very clean. We had plenty of towels and just enough room for 4 golfers (3 bedrooms so 2 have to share a bedroom). The location (8 min) from Cabot was the main reason we chose this property. The owners respond promptly to text/email and were a pleasure to deal with. The only knock would be that there is no TV, but that did enable us to tell old stories to pass the time. I would definitely recommend Paul's Perch.
