Beautiful setting in the woods between two streams
The adorable rustic cabin/cottage was exactly like the pictures, cozy and comfortable for our small family. We all loved the property most of all, the bridges and streams were magical fun for the kids to run around.

Not up to VRBO standards
I have used VRBO quite often. This is the worst experience so far.The property was not well maintained. The exterior needs a clean up. The bedroom available to us was in poor shape. It had 3 single beds. There is no AC and it was very uncomfortable to sleep even with a fan. The kitchen lacked a brush or sponges to do the dishes. The pots were not clean..The can opener didn’t work. There was no soap in the bathroom. The website promised 2 bedrooms . Only one was available to us. Given the quality of the accommodations it was very overpriced even for a holiday weekend.

Cabin review
The surroundings of the home is absolutely breathtaking. The moment we pulled up we were all kind of in state of awe of the beauty. The cabin itself was decorated very cute and cozy. Even though they had a few closets I do wish they had atleast one dresser for our clothes. Especially with all the children's clothes it was a tad difficult to arrange. Also the three beds upstairs could use new mattress. We didn't use them we all slept downstairs on the big bed and couch which was fine with me!! Also the door to go downstairs kept getting jammed shut everytime it was closed. It was a little annoying bc the children couldn't open it without one of us.. that being said I would still highly recommend this cabin!!!

Rooms with a view.
This property is truly magnificent! Surrounded by flowing streams on all sides, the sounds of water fill the air and the cottage. An absolutely perfect place for a couple to get away and enjoy nature at its best. The deer were my favorite thing to watch! I would go back in a New York second!

Cabin in the woods
Perfect little cabin in the woods. My wife, dog, and I spent two lovely nights here. No frills, but ideal back-to-nature cabin. Our dog loved running around the area. And we enjoyed the hiking. Would definitely return, and highly recommend it.

Really great spot if your looking to Ski Big Bear!
Pit this very last minute trip together for my son and nephew! Tracey was great. Quick to answer my questions and allow me to make the decision to visit. Accommodations were not overstated but quite comfortable. The fire pit and the stream outside made for great atmosphere for s’mores and hanging out! My 2 year old lab had a great time exploring outside as well. Threw a few steals on the grill and enjoyed the fresh air after a day on the slopes. The inside fireplace downstairs with the TV allowed for some male bonding watching North Carolina - Duke Game. We were fortunate no one was in the main house so we had the property to ourselves. Had a few minor issues and Tracey responded immediately. Overall would definitely recommend. Must be beautiful in the Spring/Summer as well.

Perfect winter getaway
The three bridges cottage is a great place to stay for a winter getaway. We especially loved that it felt very remote -- only views of trees from all the windows -- but was conveniently located near Big Bear ski (and tubing) mountain and not too far from towns with restaurants and grocery stores. The cabin has everything you need and is especially cozy with a fire going in the fireplace. We would love to return, hopefully in the summer to take advantage of even more outdoor activities! Also, Tracey is super responsive and helpful -- had only pleasant exchanges with her.

Charming cottage nestled in the woods.
My family and I had a great time at the cottage. We enjoyed the lake, pool and an excursion to Wallenpaupack. Upstairs bedroom was hot but there are fans to cool it down. Downstairs bedroom smells a bit musty. The kids and dog enjoyed exploring the woods and the streams.

Serene Getaway!
I rented the cottage for a birthday getaway for my outdoorsy boyfriend. It was absolutely what I was looking for. The cottage was perfect and the experience was awesome. We even had a deer come up to us and we fed it. Tracey was very helpful and responsive. We are already planning another stay in the fall! Thumbs up.

Charming Rustic Cottage
Pictures don’t do this property justice. The cottage and surrounding property are perfectly rustic and charming. Falling asleep to the sounds of two streams and enjoying arching deer roam through the forest are just two of the unique features. What’s more, the owner, Tracey, was great to work with. She responded very quickly to questions, sometimes within minutes.

magical!
my husband, 2 young daughters, our dog and myself had a wonderful time. the property is positively magical; it looks like a fairyland! we had a fabulous time exploring the creeks and the property. the cottage is well-appointed and clean, and tracey was very responsive when we had questions or issues. our only minor gripe is that the downstairs bedroom smelled a bit musty, but the A/C helped – though didn't 100% fix it – so we didn't spend a lot of time down there except to sleep. (it's a charming old cabin in the woods, tho. what are you gonna do?) we also loved taking advantage of the masthope amenities like the pool, beach and playground. since you need to provide linens, the only thing that would make this place better is a dryer so you can dry your towels after a day at the pool or lake. ( : all in all it was fabulous. the girls cried as we pulled away from the cottage – they did not want to leave.

Hard to get past the mice infestation and lack of accountability by owner
Property was cute and just as pictured. However, it's not obvious from the property description that the cabin is only seperated from the cottage (seperate rental) by a raised deck (part of the cottage rental). This was not an issue for us as we ran into the other renters only once. However, what was an issue were the mice. We found mice poop everywhere - in candles, pots and pans, floors, counters, railings, in the master bedroom ontop of the table, ontop of gloves located ontop of the fireplace tool chest, etc. we had a dog with us and even after cleaning down the kitchen, leaving all lights and tv on (for noise) we returned after an hour to find mice poop on the kitchen table and counters. Needless to say we ate all our meals outside or at restaurants, kept the place spotless, had to keep all our food in the fridge or locked in our luggage or coolers, tried to keep all our belongings packed up and raised off the floor (or in the car) and slept poorly. (We could also hear the mice running around at night). Having to deal with all that on vacation, and then have to deal with the hassle of disinfecting everything when we came home was the opposite of peaceful, relaxing and romantic. Not to mention when I notified the owner, her response was to suggest I mention the issue during my next stay for a discount. Even though the 40 decaying pellets of poop in a house candle jar proved this was a long term sysyemic problem. I had coughing fits whenever I was in the rental and believe this was a health hazard given the amount of feces all over the rental and that my coughing stopped soon after I came home. The front screen door had the top screen loose and the bathroom door (accordian style) had a tear at the handle. Again, although these were preexisting problems, the owner gave me no assurances she was going to return my security deposit. Over $1000 to live in a health hazard and not even a sincere apology for what we had to go through. To future renters, huge risk with not much reward in return. I have absolutely no confidence the infestation will be addressed and at minimum, would suggest you insist on a clause regarding rodent removal / alternative housing should you entertain staying at this location.
