"Amazing home and best location on earth. Was perfect for our family and my sister’s family. The ocean was perfect for teenagers. Not sure it would be as great for younger kids as the calm part of the ocean is a bit of a walk but it was a perfect set of waves for teenagers. The hot tub was also lovely on the day it rained."

"The setting of this place is awesome - - - the manicured grounds, the ocean front, the wrap around deck - - - it was all special. There were a few glitches though. The pictures and descriptions didn’t reveal the stairs you had to navigate. My wife and I are in our 70’s and challenged by stairs and getting supplies up to the main level was a daunting task. The barbecue grill was so dirty and grimy it was essential unusable and there wasn’t even a propane tank when we arrived. The TV didn’t work...

"The house is wonderful and Tunnels Beach, just a few minutes away, is totally incredible! The house is spacious, comfortable, and well-appointed. The deck is a great place to hang out between trips to the beach, and the AC cooled us down quickly when we got a little too warm. The house felt very private. "The place was very clean and thoughtfully equipped with supplies for a relaxing stay. Ample outdoor space to enjoy reading in a lounge chair or to nap in a hammock. Location is very convenient to the North shore area. A short walk to a beach or a short drive to the Haena Beach or Park. Donna, our host, was very responsive and kind."

"This property really is on a gorgeous beach that is positioned to give great privacy. The views are fantastic, the waves relaxing, the breeze was steady. The rooms were simple but just like the pictures. All family members liked their bed. The kitchen well supplied with the basics and a few extras (espresso machine didn't seem like a basic). "The property is absolutely gorgeous. We were a family ranging in ages from 1-85. Between the upstairs spaces and the downstairs apartment everyone had a place of their own. The power did go out once but Kevin responded quickly. We learned that part of the house runs on solar so the refrigerator and oven came back on pretty quickly. We had a local chef, Thomas Ryan, cooking for us that evening. He just went with the flow... It was one of the best meals I have ever had in an amazing location."

"We were so pleased overall with our stay. The property management was polite and responsive. The ocean view was divine! We particularly enjoyed the pool facilities and Lomi Lomi massages at the day spa on site. Glad we stayed here, near the end of the North Shore road where it was more remote & peaceful. The concierge service was a huge plus in helping set up excellent activities for our family. Will definitely stay here again next time in Kauai. Mahalo!"
