"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our family was lucky enough to stay at Aunt Lydia’s to celebrate our son’s 18th birthday. While some may consider it to be “dated” we find it charming and very comfortable to stay at. The house was immaculate and had everything we needed. If you are a simple traveler and enjoy walking to the beach with your coffee for sunrise or special drink at sunset this house is a good fit. It’s a perfect house if you prefer location and simplicity over fussy luxury. On rainier mornings and afternoons you can stay inside and stare at the waterfalls on the mountain side. The bedrooms stay very cool at night and the bonus of having a washer and dryer to clean towels mid week was a huge plus. We will always choose this house when our travels take us to Kauai."

This was a perfect location in Hanalei, a short walk to the beach and the town. We ended up not renting a car and were able to go to the beach, restaurants, farmers market and buy groceries on foot. Loved the outdoor shower and the layout was very comfortable for the 4 of us."

It has a bit of a Pirates in the Caribbean vibe, it is very well appointed (including a coffee grinder which we very much appreciated) and the host implemented many environmentally friendly features (like the local Menehune water so no plastic bottles are used etc). The host was very attentive and responded promptly."
