""Perfect" as an adjective actually doesn't do this property justice. Top to bottom, the unit is a VRBO unicorn as far as I'm concerned. Amazingly laid out and furnished and spotlessly clean are one good thing, but the astonishingly great view and proximity to crashing waves and natural entertainment is something you just don't normally find for less than $1k per night...much less. The neighborhood is also definitely upscale and you don't have to worry about keggers or knucklehead gatherings...

"The unit was beautiful. Private 2nd floor entry ( no elevator). Kitchen and living areas looked out over pool to waimea bay and mountains in distance. Could hear waves crashing and birds singing. The unit is very nicely furnished. Bed super comfy. 2 bathrooms a plus. Well stocked kitchen with nice coffee pot + espresso maker ( WOW!). We could access paved path along beach and walk to great coffee shops, farmers market Tuesdays and Thursdays plus Lava Lava Beach club and Hukilau restaurants...

"This condo unit is right above the beach and overlooks Wailua Bay Beach. We could watch surfers, swimmers and fishermen right from our lanai. We saw whales only twice; a long distance away; but also saw a large pod of dolphins right in front. The location is an easy drive to anywhere else on the island."

"We come to Kauai as a family 1-2x a year and have stayed at the Kiahuna a fair amount of times. Rick & Marilyn’s condo is by far one of the best we’ve stayed in! It was clean, well maintained and convenient. The A/C was amazing on hot nights! If you’re a Kauai regular, you know how spectacular the beach is and it’s well worth it to stay on the property to not deal with parking lol! We booked this trip super last minute since we weren’t sure our schedule would allow it and the owners were so...

"Great location! Well stocked with kitchen items and lots of fun beach chairs, towels, and toys. Tennis and pickleball court was a fun perk! Had a little issue with the toilet being broken when we checked in but owner was easy to work with to resolve. Had a great time and only bummer was no shampoo/conditioner and couldn't get a late checkout but the last was my fault...I should have asked earlier. Would stay again."
