Staff were very friendly and nice. Food was great. Areas of construction, but not noisy. Large place, so a lot of walking. Pool is wonderful and beach is right there. Clean beach, pool. Some pool service for food and drinks.

Stayed at this hotel many times in the past but since Royal Sonesta took over it has gone downhill and prices are high for what you get. We were never told: construction is being done Mon-Fri 9-5 and is very loud; the heater to the pool has been out for quite some time; you have go offsite to purchase items, such as water, although you can buy it in your room for $7 a bottle; and they have staffing issues. The weather was bad, so it would have been nice to have at least the pool heater working. Staff is nice but we wIll not be staying here again.
