Seawind 1309 | Alabama Getaway Vacation Rentals Important Seawind Elevator Construction Notice We are excited to announce that Seawind will undergo an elevator modernization project to enhance guest experience. The project will start October 20, 2025 and last through the end of April 2026\. During this time, one elevator will remain in service for guests to use while the other elevator is out of service for updates. This may cause longer wait times during busy times of the day (check in/check out, lunch/dinner time, or during a pop up rainstorm). This means you have an unobstructed and gorgeous view to the west from the deck and also the living room/dining area! So much natural light feels this spacious condo - it is wonderful! The kitchen has beautiful solid wood cabinets, granite counters, and stainless steel is fully stocked with everything you need to enjoy your vacation. A very large laundry room is found off the kitchen with a full sized washer and dryer. The living room has plenty of comfortable seating, including 2 recliners, with a large HDTV and DVD player. The living room overlooks the beach and has access to the gulf front deck. The dining room table sits 6 with 3 more seats found at the kitchen bar. Easy beach access and walking distance to a lot of things. The space was perfect/more than enough for 4 adults and 1 infant. The communication with management was also quick and clear. The only downfall is that there is 1 elevator for the whole complex, and it malfunctioned multiple times a day with heavy traffic. I will say that maintenance was good about resolving the issue within an hour or so, but always check that they’re working before packing up everything to go to the beach! Parking spots are extremely too narrow and most parking is on a severe incline! I will also add that there are only 2 small elevators and most of the time only 1 was working. Aug 13, 2023 Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, location, listing accuracy #### Seawind 1309 Easy to check in--property was as advertised--my wife thought it was the best condo we have ever rented in terms of appearance, decor, etc. We had a couple of minor issues that were resolved, welcoming packet was not on the counter when we arrived but was brought over to us within the first hour of arrival--balcony rail was too flexible, had to have maintenance look at it, they had an outside contractor come in to repair it, they were still involved with that when we left- the two guest bedrooms could use softer mattresses--kids complained they were too hard--master bedroom was perfect--condo is decorated beautifully--great location, easy to get in and out, people there were very friendly--balcony views of the beach are perfect--would like to be able to see the evening sunsets but can't do that based on the balcony location in relation to the August sunsets--we would definitely stay there again if possible on a future trip ##### randal s. It was a great place to stay and I will look forward to staying again. Very clean and comfortable. My family enjoyed our stay and will be back. Staff was beyond nice and easy to reach if needed. Only complaints are they need more than 2 elevators.
