"The property is very close to the main square. Also tucked away from all of the hustle and bustle, but also central to all of the main points that people would want to see."
"No joke...this place is steps from St. Marks Square! Relatively easy to find. This is an older hotel so dont expect modern furniture and fixtures but the AC works (a little too well, we had to turn it up a few times lol) and thats all that mattered to me. Beds are firm but i didnt mind it. Breakfast was ok but it was complimentary, you do have to "check in" with the waitstaff and tell them the room number. I would definitely stay here again "
"We had an great stay at Splendid Venice! It was right in the heart of the city near the plaza and wonderful restaurants. The concierge recommended places to eat- restaurants, gelato etc. and was especially helpful. Only slide note is that breakfast is a bit on the pricey side so consider purchasing it with your room at the start or going nearby for affordability. "
"We had a wonderful stay and wish we could have stayed longer. Wonderful staff, helpful and courteous. We had an early travel day and they even packed us a boxed breakfast for the road! It was a nice detail that we were thankful for once we caught our train! ❤️🇮🇹"
"This was my 2nd time staying here. Staff is awesome! Coffee hour from 4pm - 6pm is perfect. Location is ideal for your stay in Venice!! We will be staying here again the next time we are in Venice! Thank you Hotel Montecarlo! "
