"Hotel d'Orologio is in the charming San Polo sestiere yet is also centrally located to the major tourist activities of Venice. The hotel is beautiful, has impeccable service and excellent breakfasts and is really comfortable, quite luxuriously so. I look forward to my next stay there."
"The hotel was wonderful, and so quaint. Right on the water and close to several restaurants. The dining area outside was lovely and the breakfast was really delicious. The upgraded room was a bit smaller than expected, but the bathroom was large and we had a view of the canal. The lobby was small, but the staff were really friendly and helpful. "
"The view of the canals was amazing.
The place itself was beautiful and had everything we needed for our stay.
I would definitely recommend staying here!
There is only one thing I want to mention. My kids told me that the couch in the living room was very uncomfortable. Our bed was fantastic though :-) "
"We stay there whenever in Venice. The staff is friendly and accommodating to all requests. The terrace on Grand Canal is a wonderful place for hanging out and the hotel is an easy walk from St. Marks, museums and designer shops. Breakfast is included and abundant, and drinks and/or snacks outside on the terrace is a joy in good weather. The 7th-floor bar and restaurant provide a breathtaking panorama of the city. "
"Wonderful and unique, the property feels like it belongs in the renaissance era. Charming with plenty of opportunities for stunning pictures. Skip the breakfast as it is mediocre at best and considering the fact you are in food heaven there are many better options available nearby. Be advised that the hotel will not provide an iron or kettle as the fire danger is a concern. "

"Our window looked out at a canal where the Gondolas started and finished right off of San Marcos. Amazing "

"This is a wonderful hotel. A renovated old palazzo, our room (preferred category) was spacious, with high ceilings and large windows with a view over the rooftops. Bathroom is comfortable and modern with a great shower! Breakfast is copious with eggs, bacon and cappuccino included in the price. We were served every morning by Mima, a delightful young server who took great care of us. We even had a quick lunch in the garden on our last day and found the food to be excellent. Location is perfect. Just in front of a vaporetto station which is a big advantage in Venice. Front desk personnel were competent, kind and helpful.
One word of warning: the preferred category of rooms includes some that correspond perfectly to the photos and sq meter size on the site. But others are much smaller. Hotel should charge a reduced rate for the smaller rooms of less than 20 sq m. we can’t wait to come back to this wonderful hotel if we can get a large room like the one we had on this trip. "

"We stayed here for one night while in Venice and the staff were great. Helped with recommendations for bars and water bus directions I would stay here again."

"Close enough to walk everywhere easily but away enough to not feel like you are in Times Square type of crowding. Hotel was clean and beautiful. The shower water pressure wasn’t the greatest but that’s really the only downside. Air conditioning, shopping and food close, it was a great stay."

"The service provided by the employees at this property was exceptional. The team provided assistance with airport transfers and transfers to a cruise ship. Email communication was prompt and on the ground service was the best we have received in Europe. The hotel location on the water was safe and convenient short walk to main tourist sites. Restaurant recommendation for dinner was non-touristy, local food and very affordable. This was a great hotel experience -we will definitely return!!"
