Beautiful and private villa with lovely mature trees for shade and a lovely sundrenched pool
We (Two couples, between 37-51 years old, no children) stayed for 7 nights at the end of July 2019 into the first week of August. Kira and Arturo were warm and welcoming hosts who have lived on the island for the past 30+ years on and off and are great resources for places to explore depending on your interests. They took great care to have the villa ready and looking perfect for us at check in. The villa is in a private and protected wooded area of Formentera, yet still close to restaurants, a supermarket, scooter rental shop, beaches, bars, etc. We were pleased with the size and depth of the pool which was (discreetly) cleaned daily. While the pictures made us feel the pool may be smaller and somewhat shaded, we were pleasantly surprised that it was actually larger and deeper, great for jumping in and cooling off at all hours of the day. The fresh water pool was always clean, well -maintained, and received the perfect amount of sun throughout the day. The floating pool loungers were great. The sun loungers at the pools edge were super comfortable and shaded perfectly by the beautiful mature trees throughout the property. This villa is a one of a kind, aesthetically pleasing property with a two story layout that blends the indoors and outdoors to maximize the summer breezes. The beautifully unique handcrafted wooden doors allowed the breeze to pass through while providing privacy. We enjoyed the multiple indoor and outdoor chill out lounge areas to dine, chat into the evening, and play music, while enjoying distant views of the island as the villa sits at a slightly higher elevation that most of the island. The two master bedrooms are air-conditioned and separated for privacy, each with its own en suite full bathroom. There are two small bedrooms downstairs with twin beds in each that we used for our belongings/closets as we didn't have a need for the extra bedrooms. The villa's walls are well constructed and very thick, creating a quiet peaceful atmosphere to rest indoors if one or two people wanted to sleep late in the morning while everyone else is awake, or take an afternoon nap, or retire to bed earlier than the rest of the crew. The private location is an easy walk down hill to the nearby beaches and restaurants. Renting a scooter and vehicle was helpful to explore the island. We were very sad to leave, but happy to know we choose the right villa for our time in Formentera. We would definitely go back again and rent this villa.

Old school lovely
It was a lovely holiday, soooo relaxed. Would not recommend to property to families with small children due to steep stairs but for us was perfect. We had an amazing time and the location could not be better. We would definitely come back.
