"This is a very large resort and lots of walking is required. Very quiet at night, no real place to sit and have a nice drink after hours. Pretty much a ghost town after midnight. They are very happy to give rides if required and staff will a friendly! "

"We very much enjoyed our stay at Xanadu Island resort. The hotel is hidden in a lush setting. The bedrooms are comfortable although they are not as roomy as they look on the pictures. The staff is very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. There are golf carts for rent and bikes are complimentary, as well as kayaks. The pool is very pleasant and quiet. The only downside is the company used by the hotel for snorkeling, Lil'Alfonso. The guide is rude, arrogant and obnoxious. He makes you feel...

"The accommodations were amazing. We loved our villa. Our concierge, Paulina, was always checking in to make sure we had everything we needed. The staff weee always trying to please, even if they messed up or were taking too long. They were trying. We were a bit shocked at how much all the food and drinks cost. It was quite high for the quality received. The beach seemed to be somewhat destroyed from some storms but they had some blockades to control the waves. "

"We did the privilege room upgrade at this resort. The room was great, everything in the room functioned as it should. Cold AC, great water pressure and hot water. Top shelf alcohol is included with the privilege upgrade, and the privilege restaurant food was excellent. The pools and beach were nice and there were always chairs available.
