This was the first of our annual all-family vacations without our beloved mother, wife, sister, aunt, sister in law, who died in December at 55, after a long battle with cancer. This was a time to be together for healing.. . we were more concerned with spending time together than with things being perfect. However, even given this reality, we feel the need to comment on the condition of the house. The house was a disappointment. It is in need of attention; presenting as not well taken care of, in need of painting and some furnishings need replaced. It was not clean. The kitchen was not well equipped and was very unorganized. There were gnats in the kitchen, seeming to come from a juicer on the counter, perhaps not properly cleaned. The beds/bedding were not comfortable. The location was good. Easy walk to the beach.
