Mountain Valley Refuge lovely Southfork Views

Welcome to Mountain Valley Refuge! This unique home has panoramic, 360-degree views of the South Fork. This property is located 10 miles from Cody, on a hard surface road in the South Fork River Valley. This area was discovered by John Coulter of the Lewis and Clark Expedition.
Towards the south there are great views of the Carter Mountain Range and public access. To the southwest, there is more spectacular views through South Fork Valley to Ishawooa and the Thoroughfare, the most remote location on the north American continent. To the north, the views are just as breathtaking including views of Spirit Mountain, Rattlesnake Range, and Sheep Mountain. This home is walking distance to the river and reservoir with some of the best trout fishing in the area. It is also just a short bicycle ride on a hard surface road to many hiking trails.
Mountain Valley Refuge is a unique open concept, lego-style home. The main level features a living room with mid-century modern sofas from Sweden, a dining area with amazing views, and a fully equipped kitchen. Also located on the main level is the master bedroom with a queen bed, a sofa sleeper, and an attached private bathroom with a tub/shower combo. There is a second full bathroom located on the main level also with a tub/shower combo. A laundry room is located off the attached garage for your convenience. There is a sleeping loft area for additional guests. The loft features a queen bed, a double bed, a bunk bed with 2 twin beds and balcony views.
Outside there is a RV parking area on the large private lot (2.92 acres). Enjoy grilling outdoors and taking in vast mountainous landscape. Make Mountain Valley Refuge your next vacation destination.

*Disclaimer: This property does not have AC. At night temperatures drop to the 55 or 60 degrees and low to no humidity, opening windows at night helps to cool the property down and lets in the fresh mountain air!

The location of this home was perfect. Do you have a 360° view of the mountains. This home was very clean and had most of the amenities you would have at your own home. It was also nice to have the washing machine and dryer, I have nothing bad to say I would definitely recommend this place for your next family vacation and I look forward to staying here again

CODY RENTAL
The rental smelled like smoke, they stated they had a smart tv but you could only watch it if you had Netflix account which wasn't listed, upstairs balcony door would not lock. Could not get in touch with anybody to help out. Only good thing about the rental was the view.

A beautiful & restful spot!
This property was everything we wanted - beautiful, spacious, private, plus all the amenities made our stay so enjoyable - including the washer & dryer, & all the kitchen needs were there. Away from the busy part of town, but close enough to enjoy Cody, and travel to other wonderful spots in Wyoming. Trust me, if we're in the area again, we'd love to stay here!

Excellent Location just Outside of Cody
This is an excellent location for those wanting to be close to Cody, but still in a quiet/peaceful location out of town. Great access to the National Forest. Deer would come up right on the back patio to eat apples fallen off the tree. Easily enough room, and the wood stove was nice for chillier nights.

Gorgeous Views!
My family and I stayed here for 3 nights and it was perfect for us! Peaceful, serene and just what the doctor ordered from our busy lives. Watch mule deer right outside your door, while eating breakfast and dinner. We had a great time and will be back!
