Bedroom on the first floor was helpful for our grandparents. The whole house is beautiful inside. We often stay at homes instead of hotels so we can prepare foods that accommodate our many dietary restrictions. The kitchen was adequately stocked with what we needed to fix meals. It was advertised as a 2 bathroom, but it was actually only 1.5\. The shower was upstairs, which makes it difficult for guests who have mobility issues. The door from which you entered the house went directly into the half-bath before entering the kitchen, which was very weird. There was confusion with the entry code to access the keys. The email we received was not the correct code. There were no instructions on how to work the key box either. The host had to come out to open the door for us. The only AC upstairs was in one bedroom, making the upstairs smell very musty. Luckily, we had some air freshener with us. Nothing remarkable about the outside, but there was plenty of parking. There really is no outdoor area to sit. The house was very clean and well equipped. Alexis is a well organized host, and responded quickly to my questions. I must echo previous reviews, in that it was strange and awkward that the main entrance was through the downstairs half bath. As there is a good deal of unused space on the first floor, perhaps a full bath will be included in future plans. Also, with hot summer temps, the downstairs was comfortably cool, but one window AC unit in the upstairs and ceiling fans had to work hard to keep things cool. Fortunately we only had to use the bedroom that had that window unit. This was a good enough place for 4 people for one night.
