Recommended
El Rocio is lovely, and El Sombrero was well locäted and easy to find. Just be aware you may need to ring the owner on arrival - he comes quickly but make sure you have a phone!

Closed!
When we arrived at the hotel it was closed with a note on the door to phone another number. The person who answered the phone understandably spoke little English and I spoke even less Spanish. I was asked to wait a moment and a few minutes later he turned up in a car and told us that we were being moved to an alternative hotel in the town, which was part of the same group. We followed in our car a short distance to the alternative hotel, which turned out to be reasonable. The cost was double that of the Casa El Sombrero but we were only charged the rate which we made the booking for. It was a bit disconcerting when we did not know where we were going to end up but it all turned out ok in the end! The alternative hotel was the Palacio Donana.
Smallest room i ever stayed in
There was never anyone there to check us in or out, or to help us with anything. We had to walk to a nearby store to getthem to call the guy to let us in. The room was the smallest i have ever seen...really uncomfortable.
Pros: Right in town, near the marsh
Cons: Don't even ask
Location: Good for birding and access to donana national park

found this amazing little town near National Park bei accident. Town totally dedicated to Horses, no tarmaced streets, all sand.
