"Fantastic staff"
Amazingly friendly and helpful staff made my two visits here in December great stays. Perfect location for exploring Chelsea/Kensington/Knightsbridge on foot but also being tucked away in a quiet spot at the end of the day. Decor in the rooms feels a bit dated, and repairs to the ceiling are visible. In the first suite, the balcony doors were so poorly sealed that they made piercing whistling sounds on the windy days and let in the cold. That room also had the most uncomfortable, lumpy bed I've ever slept in, and the wifi was slow or in and out. My second room was smaller, had no balconies, and worse looking finishings, but the bed was better and the Internet access improved :) The food is too expensive for what it is, and the breakfast buffet is too limited. All of the restaurant and bar staff were delightful though and I enjoyed their hospitality, recommendations, and general conversation. I'll be back again because of these people and because of the convenience in staying here while in town for football at Stamford Bridge.

"Beautiful Old Home Atmosphere"
It was like walking into an old home. Very nice atmosphere. The staff were very helpful. No mini bar or iron/ironing board in the room. Few plugs for phone/computer/iPad, etc. Off the main road but felt safe. Very comfortable bed. Excellent bathroom amenities. Needed a few things repaired and done immediately.

"Great quite London option nearby shops & food"
I would highly recommend this hotel and would book it again, if and when we return to London. The street is quiet, but still near plenty of shopping and restaurants. The staff is amazingly helpful with directions, advice and restaurant recommendations. The breakfast is wonderful and the cocktail service at night with the fabulous Tony is even better.
