"Quiet, Scenic, Okay Stay; Disappointing Dining"
We have always wanted to stay at the Harbour House & a milestone birthday seemed like the perfect time so my husband booked a reservation & we stayed for a few days last year. The Inn itself & room had nice ocean views, was comfortable, had lovely grounds with interesting artwork at every turn. Unfortunately our reserved dining experience was disappointing, especially for what was to be a special birthday dinner celebration. Service was inattentive, food was mediocre & overpriced. The staff got our order wrong (twice), then charged us for items we did not receive with barely an apology - felt terribly neglected. At that, we just wanted the experience to be over. Rarely anyone staffed at the front desk. Overall, it was anything but a special celebration & stay but we did enjoy the Whiffen Spit walks & Juan de Fuca trail & beaches. Yes, the fresh cookies were a treat! Didn't write a review until now - probably a good thing that time has passed as we have seen some good dining/experiences in reviews since so that's nice to know but we still aren't sure we would go back.

Hotel was beautiful. I wasn't planning on golfing but I'm glad I did. Golf course is spectacular. The front nine on the Valley course was very impressive. Even if you don't golf this place is very relaxing. Nice pool, Spa is very nice and you can rent nice mountain bikes for a challenging ride right from the hotel parking lot. Staff was excellent.

"Weekend fun"
Hotel is situated in a lovely location and was an easy walk for us to attend The Tragically Hip concert. Lots of good pubs and entertainment just steps away. The room was spacious and clean and the bed comfortable. The gym was nice but ideally I'd like to see more equipment (ex. leg press and cable machine). Pool, hot tub & sauna were enjoyed and appeared to be well maintained. We did receive vouchers upon our booking for the buffet breakfast. The food served did leave alot to be desired (scrambled eggs bland and watery, fruit not as fresh as one would expect). The staff we encountered were all pleasant, helpful and professional and we appreciated the level of cleanliness throughout the hotel.

"Beautiful view, close to old town"
Spent a few days at Delta Victoria Ocean Pointe. Although there were a few hiccups during our stay overall it is a lovely hotel with great location, spa and dinning facilities. It is a short walk to downtown Victoria; wih the wharf area, the Empress hotel, museums and local restaurants very close by.

"Relax in a quiet getaway"
We loved it here. A short drive after getting off the ferry in sydney. Also just a 15 minute or so drive from downtown Victoria. Down a quiet little road leads you to a most beautiful view of the water and surrounding hills. Very friendly hosts, great food, and a wonderful home to relax in and around.
