"cozy, comfortable, great location & staff"
I booked this hotel because of the location and free parking. The building has an old character charm which I liked a lot, and the interior was clean and very comfortable, with a good sized fridge, which is always nice especially when travelling on road. It lacked a microwave in the room but the staff were very kind to let us use theirs. The morning coffee in the lobby was very good. All in all, it was great. I would definitely return.

"Reasonably priced for so close to the harbour"
We were happy with the location and size of the room . The restaurant staff were great, the beds were comfortable. I also appreciated the really hot water with great water pressure in the shower. The only issues were other guests items left under a bed and dirty dishes in the kitchen. There were no cloths or scrubbers to wash the dishes but the staff very quickly brought some up to wash them. We would stay again.

"Charming B&B "
Very quaint, in a 1913 boarding house with 15 different rooms. Looks exactly like the pictures. Location is superb. Beautiful views of the castle and you feel like you are in an English country side, despite being very close to the city centre. We stayed in the master suite, which had a bathroom bigger than our own at home and a full kitchen! We were greeted very warmly and hot heavenly cinnamon buns were delivered to our room within the hour. Breakfast was cold options, but was delish. Coffee was decent. Only complaint is the rooms are not sealed, so you can easily hear other guests at times, and they can probably hear you too! (Don't go on your honeymoon ;) ). Someone had their tv on at 3am :( Also the master suite is right beside the kitchen so we could hear them getting breakfast ready just before 7am. Although this wasn't a problem for us as we were awake with kids. From other reviews I was concerned about the street parking, but it wasn't an issue at all, even though every room was booked but one. Definitely recommend! !

With so much to do in Victoria, it’s easy to customize your trip and experience the best the city offers while staying within budget.

Start your holiday with a bold adventure on the breakwater. Located close to the Inner Harbour, the breakwater is a low, 700 m concrete bridge on the bay that provides sweeping views of the city. The harbour itself is another favorite, especially the wooden pier of Fisherman’s Wharf. With prime views of sea life and places for people-watching, it’s a charming spot, made only better with some local ice cream treats.

If you love looking at beautiful things, consider heading over to the Art Gallery of Greater Victoria. The museum offers a pay-what-you-want day once a month, allowing visitors with even the tightest budgets the chance to view a variety of local and international art pieces.
