"Pros: Friendly staff, clean room, convenient location, breakfast included. Cons: Bathroom amenities are lacking (shower cap, bar soap, lotion) and room is slightly dated."

"It is an older hotel so expect no elevators but the helpful staff will gladly help you to your room, and the noise between walls floors might be more noticeable because of that but the charm, coziness, pricepoint & staff friendliness makes up for that. Close to Beacon Hill Park & not far to beaches or behind Parliment buildings makes it a nice location."

"The location is great, at the back side of the BC legislation building. Step away from Victoria inner harbor. The room was clean. Morning breakfast area was well maintained. The hotel has a nice elevated garden on the front of property, deers live there. "

"I was planning to stay for over a week for work but upon checking in I was informed that the only elevator was broken (my room was on the 4th floor) and the pool was closed for maintenance for the week. I specifically booked the hotel as it had a kitchenette and the pictures showed a stove with oven but it was just two hot plates. The kitchen was very small (located directly in the entrance to the hotel room) and I asked the front desk to be moved to another room that was larger but they informed me all of the rooms were the same size. However when I checked online they advertise rooms with private kitchens that would have better suited my needs. I ended up checking out early and checked in to another hotel. I got overcharged for the two nights I was there as well so overall a poor experience when there are much better options to stay in the area."
